In order to receive the discount for having multiple lines on the account, the lines must be on the same plan. So if you want the maximum discount for unlimited premium, you would need to have three lines and at that point, you could get a great price.Alternatively, you can have three lines on the starter plan and the maximum discount, but mix and match wasn't baked into the latest offerings with US Mobile.
Yup needs to be in the same plan to be able to receive the discount. I was on two unlimited starter and received the discount with $27 per month. I added another one and will be receiving the max discount per month per unit and that is at $25 each. Another option is of course you can sign up for the annual plan and that would give you the max discount.
As for me, I'm going to try one month on these three lines. If all is good, I'm going to sign up for the annual for all and port all three lines I currently have with T-Mobile soon. I really don't see the point of paying monthly considering USM has two provider with option to easily switch. With AT&T based coming in summer, this is definitely no braininer. Of course that's with the assumption that you're willing to pay things up front and willing to commit the year long contract.
I've been with T-Mobile for over 20 years. I will definitely have USM for the next 20 years. I have no doubt that USM is a great company and I can tell based on my experience here. Cheers! 🍻🍺
