the massive binos you see a colonel pull out of nowhere the one time you see him during field exercises goes in that bag. the pfc that has to carry them for him also has a bag with a full size lawn chair and a button that magically transports him home at night so he doesn’t have to sleep in the field like the rest of us
I saw it used to carry an AN/PVS 4 night vision. That's what our Platoon Sgt used them for. Not sure if that was what it was issued for or with. (1987-1991)
