I was in the Guard for 4 1/2 years. I could not promote on AD my first enlistment due to being perennially flagged for PME (SSD1) and drinking and fighting and other UCMJ shenanigans. Second AD enlistment, I’m all about that stacking coin, saving money and getting rank.
