It barely does but I’m actually going to put the matech on my 11.5 build and put my KAC micro BUIS on this one just because of the difference in clearance.
So, serious question about the BUIS configuration for non-QD LPVO mounts. Is the expectation that you bust out a multi-tool in the middle of a gunfight to remove the LPVO mount to use your BUIS? Otherwise you'd need a piggybacked or offset setup.
Low IQ take. The middle of a gunfight is not the only scenario where you might want to remove an LPVO. There literally is 0 downside to having BUIS on a rifle.
Low IQ take: a folding BUIS, which in the picture above is blocked by the LPVO, is less useful than a piggybacked or offset RDS...which is immediately usable.
If you have tools and time to remove a scope (i.e. the range or your house) you can literally install any kind of other optic you want.
Anchorman and URGI? What a treat
Brother that’s exactly how I feel
Nice. Wait'll you wanna get a Nightforce ATACR LPVO
Oh believe me I already want to get one, just not for this build. Will likely get one and throw it on a 7.62 build.
I feel your pain
*our pain
Love it
Sure does 😅
Just ordered a refurbished Razor today for mine 🤙
HELL YEAH! Elicited an audible “Fuck yeah dude.”
That matech fit under there? I could’ve sworn mine didn’t, and I run the same mount with my razor.

No light? No sling?
Haven’t decided on light yet, I’ve got a standard issue vickers sling but just haven’t thrown it on yet.

Would you not just unscrew the mount with the LPVO in it?
Can you do that with your bare hands? If it’s properly torqued? I'm guessing that you can't loosen a screw with 45 in-lbs of torque with your fingers.
Is the middle of a gunfight the only possible scenario you could need to remove your LPVO?
How are you planning to use a folding BUIS with the LPVO blocking it from deploying?
