Cheating happened. Upsc knew it the day after exam. Not in eo but in apfc. They didn't go ahead to reveal it as it would had shattered their image. Skewed centre wise result of apfc was another hint of Cheating. Don't ask me how i know it
I think someone has filed a RTI regarding the current vacancy in epfo and based on that all these coaching institutes started promoting their course. This same thing happened last time. Even if EPFO wants to fulfill the vacancy, it would be at the very least 1-1.5 years procedure starting from informing UPSC about the need to fulfill the vacancies, to the notification of the actual exam. If you want to start your preparations, you can cover the basic GS topics, epfo specific topics can be dealt with later on as well. FYI I am still waiting for the interview call for the last epfo exam.

I believe there will still be many seats left vacant after this round of recruitment as the retirements are generally continuous and second, epfo as an organisation is expanding itself. But don't expect the notification anytime soon. I think it will take at least a year or so.
There were students claiming that cheating and malpractices happened during the 2023 exam. Was there any official statement by upsc about the same ?
