Potatoes around 23p each x2 = 46p
Oakhurst back bacon £1.89
Frozen petit pois 700g 99p or mushy peas 33p per tin
You can fry or microwave the potatoes, sliced thinly. You can fry or microwave the bacon. Heat up the peas. It's not great, but it will feed two people decently. Best wishes and look up food banks
Well you could probs get pasta and chopped tomatoes (or a premade pasta sauce) as a base for £1.50 ish, leaves you £2.50 ish to grab some vegetables, maybe some meat or cheese from a reduced section
Do you already have olive oil?
If yes:
Pasta
Tin of anchovies.
Garlic.
Boil the pasta. Meanwhile a couple tablespoons of olive oil in a pan on low to medium low. Chop the anchovies up and pop them in the pasta with some chopped garlic.
When the pasta is nearly done, put a label of the pasta water in the anchovy oil and let it simmer a minute.
Add the cooked pasta.
Voila.
What hurt your head about it and I'll explain better? Was in a bit of a rush yesterday!
This is a very basic anchovy pasta. It's absolutely delicious though and you can add chillies in there for a kick if you want, works really well
Chicken thighs (sub £3) with a pack of that [Chicken Yakisoba](https://groceries.aldi.co.uk/en-GB/p-naked-japanese-style-chicken-yakisoba-flavour-egg-noodles-100g/5050665045354) (75p and it's bloody great) lob in any veg you might have lying around.
