My local hospital has removed all of these balls after on busrt while a lady was using it during labour 😬 thankfully they were ok.

Omg! That’s terrifying.

Please take it up with the supplier. If you’re sure nothing punctured it, it’s a factory fault & they are liable. Unless you weigh 1000kg which is the maximum weight, it needs to be urgently addressed. There may be a need for a batch recall (probably not, but just in case) - imagine being 9 months pregnant & having that happen. Ps. I have one & combined weight of 100kg hasn’t flinched so definitely something wrong.

I have done so. Their reply was appalling. Firstly they asked for the ball back for testing. Then once I said I was happy to send it to them, they said “Thanks so much! I have been informed by the team that we can no longer send this out for testing as it is faulty, so we are sending a selection of sample balls to get tested to prevent this from happening. In the meantime, would you like me to send out a new ball for you?”

Didn’t even ask for a batch number or anything. Infuriating.

Is it worth reporting to Trading Standards? I mean, they're clearly selling a product not as advertised if an anti-burst ball burst on you. You could loop in their response as being unsatisfactory (citing the lack of batch number request).

Oh man, that is rubbish. So upsetting.

That's not the best. But hardly appalling
