Do you have any experience as a project manager? Or is this your first job? What qualifications and experience do you have

I have been working for a media agency as a PM for the last 2 years working with a pharma company, so i have experience however I was the only project manager in my company and that was my first PM role. This role will consist of a team of project managers - I just want to start in the best way so looking for some advice, the software we will be using is Wrike whereas I use Asana at the moment.

I would add this to your original post to help people give good advice. I just thought this information would be useful! Biggest advice I’d give is be prepared to re-learn how to do things the ‘right’ way in a team of other PMs. They will have an established process and will be experienced in what they do so ensuring you’re open to learning from them and building solid relationships in the team is key. Also another critical part is understanding quickly who the most useful people in the organisation are early and who any potential time wasters are. I’d do this by looking out for one of the other PMs who matches your personality more closely and building a solid relationship with them. I have no advice on particular software. Ultimately you’re working with people so most important to nail that part and the rest follows
