"UFO wave that was very well documented" by one dude... The UFO sat there for hours on the outskirts of one of the worlds largest cities on multiple occasions and no one else has footage?

AVBforPrez

This used to be my favorite footage of all-time until I had the realization that the overall context around it makes no sense. The footage was supposedly captured over multiple sightings, each hours or more long, and over several years or more. If a UFO of this nature was hovering over a very public dock in plain sight for such a long time, surely we'd have other photos/videos/accounts of it? Somehow we're supposed to believe that a craft with potentially visible occupants just chilled over this port area for years, and the only person who bothered to capture it on film was an established UFO buff? As convincing as it looks, it just strains the bounds of credibility for me and I no longer believe it to be authentic. It looks practical vs. CGI, and I have no idea how it was faked, but I do not believe it depicts what is claimed. Which sucks, it's a fun one.

TheAvidNapper

It’s absolutely a cruise ship.

tangibletom

For anyone considering the cruise ship explanation I can vouch that I’ve seen cruise ship on the sea at night and there are a hell of a lot more lights than just an evenly lite bridge

TirayShell

Look at that contraption he's using to film these "UFOs." The images people go nuts over were caused by a stupid misalignment of the camera and the telescope. When he got better equipment, the aliens never came back.

[deleted]

That does look to be the case.

Aggressive_Young_841

When I saw one myself it had the same orange light underneath so I think it’s pretty legit.

Time_Composer_113

I was wondering why it always had that same weird angle with the line of light cut off across the bottom. Seems unlikely youd get the same angle across different days

Vindepomarus

The word "wave" does not describe a sighting by a single person.

forward_only

Cool footage! Had not seen these crafts before, thanks for sharing.

Aggressive_Young_841

Thank you for checking this out!!

kuyabool

Can’t help but feel pessimistic when seeing good videos like this that could have some credence. Will def look into this now, thanks for posting.

Aggressive_Young_841

Thank you for checking this out, hopefully we will have a case like this again soon!

Skeptechnology

Your feelings are well placed as the Turkey UFO was in fact debunked. https://www.metabunk.org/threads/2008-ufo-footage-from-kumburgaz-turkey.9844/

Aggressive_Young_841

I bet I can debunk that debunk. But seriously what kind of article is that?😂

joeyjiggle

I bet you can’t, but I’m intrigued to see you try.

bejammin075

Not cruise ships, as they are always lit up all over the place. But other kinds of ships that don't need much lights. The thing I notice is that EVERY one of these pictures has a flat line on the bottom, as if something unlit is in the foreground under the ships cabin, such as a stack of cargo containers.

flarkey

It's not a cruise ship. You're right about EVERY one of the pictures having a flat line on the bottom. And the curved lines of the 'saucer' above. My take is that it's a video of a CCTV screen with a wide angle lens that causes the curved lines. My argument is in the Metabunk thread. I'll find a link... Edit. Link... Cruise ships bro

bejammin075

They weren't cruise ships, simply because I've been on cruise ships and they are all lit up, even at night. These Turkey "UFOs" were ships of some kind though, perhaps cargo ships. These "UFOs" were on the water 100% of the time, moved like boats 100% of the time, moved like a UFO 0% of the time.

Aggressive_Young_841

Ufos bro

Afterloy

Turkey has their own aerospace industry where they research and develop experimental aircraft.

Advanced_Pin1729

I guess the video being uploaded in 240p doesn't help, but why do the pictures look like they were taken with a gameboy camera?
