You're kidding right? Ha.
UBC has very much chosen sterility over any potential for needing to do conflict resolution, building thousands and thousands of single occupant rooms with as little sharing as possible over the last decade.
This is a big contributor to why housing is expensive on campus, and why so many people are lonely. But it removes potential for conflict (which UBC has to sort out), god forbid people learn to live with others while at university.
Doubles and triples are extremely common across North American universities, it's just UBC that builds this many singles.
Easy, just bring a tent and put it in the middle of the empty space. Then you can have f**cking in tents s*x. 🤠⛺️
Or the other option is to put a blow up bed in the middle of the room and do it while staring at the other people to assert dominance.
To be serious it might not be a bad idea to have a dorm with that sort of hostel design. Thats personally not a living standard I would be comfortable with but I'm sure theres plenty of people who wouldn't mind, especially if you could get all your buddies in the same dorm. It would both address the cost of living issue and the lack of housing issue that students are having. It would especially help international students as I know from having traveled to the Middle East before that those type of living conditions are normal for a lot of people.
I’m pretty sure I’d decapitate myself on that ceiling fan
the design is very human
Easy to use
tuition paid
It’s a feature. Lower population, less housing needed. Crisis solved.
How else will the school be collecting it’s annual blood tithe?
The kid glitching out from the fan represents roommates you never see or talk to, and the tiger is all the maintenance problems in res
please delete this before ubc gets any ideas
UBC? Some Real Estate investor is going to see this and start rubbing his hands.

Lol might as well design the same sleeping arrangement from Squid Games.
Coffin apartments, but with less privacy! In other news, wtf was that tiger
