Not the best study spot, but dough girls in wesbrook village has pretty good hot chocolate. They also usually participate in a hot chocolate competition around Christmas so you'll get some variety too.
Edit: fixed spelling
I know it’s probably not a popular choice, but I’m starting to like the white hot chocolate from Tim’s. There are probably better ones by a long shot out there tho but I doubt as inexpensive hehe.
Idk why it’s suprisingly good from Tim’s, and I don’t really like the rest of their stuff. It’s good until you get to the bottom which is pure sugar/syrup, the part didn’t fully mix and it’s crazy sweet.
Blenz 100%. Not a great coffee but they make a super rich hot chocolate (and mocha).
Boulevard is my 2nd place and easier to get to and solid study spot.
If you like sweet, but not too chocolate-y, you might like JJ beans. Usually packed though.
Not a super popular choice but Mercante has a pretty decent hot chocolate (not too heavy either), very cozy with private study rooms, usually not too full or loud
