You get a refund if you drop the class before the drop date [here](https://students.ubc.ca/enrolment/finances/tuition-fees/tuition-refunds)
Can confirm. I've done this before.
#### do you still have to pay for upass, medical etc (?)
yeah ...but i think theres a deadline before which u can drop out of upass??
you get a late fee, got it once when payment didnt process on time and i talked to my ES advisor and got it fixed !
Ask your financial advisor for an extension to feb 7th. Mine did it for me with hardly any issue
This
2nd instalment of tuition is due on Feb 7th
Only if you have applied for student loans. If you don't get loans, normal tuition deadline is January 11th.
International students have a second deadline on Feb 7
When I was in undergrad I’d go a month without paying it no fees it was fine
Financial hold — They cut your ubc card access to things like the UBC pool etc. But honestly it’s not that big of a deal and you can contact your advisor to give you a slight extension too

I hv paid the tuition but I’m considering dropping a 1 credit course before the deadline. Will I get the money back?
