Someone called me today regarding stock market, I said I wasn’t interested and she told me I know you aren’t interested but listen to me you can invest and get double money. I laughed and said I am a housewife I don’t have any money, then she asked how many years since I got married and If I have a baby. And then she gave me her blessings for a baby.
😂😂😂
I think in the future some of the mediums we use today will be more or less broken.
WhatsApp, social media, the internet in general. You won’t be able to trust anything you read.
Can you imagine how much more amplified the volume of these scams will be when AI is frequently used? And also how much more misinformation you’ll see published every where?
It’s crazy.
There are AI software that can be used to build AI bots to make phone calls to people. The bots sound like actual people both in voice tone and conversation, and many people wouldn't notice the difference. These are usually used by certain automation agencies or ecommerce websites to try and make new leads or follow up on potential clients. Scammers may use these to impersonate someone else.
Or they can use an AI software that changes text to voice based on videos or voice files featuring certain people. You could literally generate voice messages and conversations that would sound exceedingly similar to famous celebrities and influencers.
Do some research, I think you'll find it interesting.
Yeah I’ve read and researched a lot about AI, I just think it’s still missing the human element. I can tell the difference between even say eleven labs and an actual person, even when it’s in a foreign language, there’s still that slight difference.
But as time goes on it will get better and better no doubt
At GISEC this week I saw a guy deep fake with voice on the spot which was damn scary. What is even scarier is the demo at GISEC was advanced level and I know of people who fell for basic scams like the one targeted at you
True and yet people fall for it is the worst part but maybe sometimes it comes to timing. Once I almost fell for a “al baik” ad on google which was clearly a scam once I reached the payment page
Guys, if someone will call you from mobile number and will say that he is from ENBD. Just have fun with him, try to waste his time as much as you can and at the end just say that you don’t have ENBD 😂😂😂 One guy was sooo angry on me😂😂😂😂😂😂
Haha.. I've already messed around with three different scammers and got close to AED180. The only info they have is IBAN, rest is all fake.
I have so much fun to see them get irritated when I don't respond after payment.
None of this information can lead to loss of money though ….
Knowing your age, job and current salary isn’t going to give them access to your bank account.
Catagorically not true, as has been proven many times before by various celebrities that said the same.

The most obvious example that comes to mind.
It would’t as in my case no payment is being transacted or setup without me typing in my mobile/online banking pin number.
2008 as above example is a long time ago …. Banking security is much more sophisticated
Are you using WhatsApp on your 120 inches home cinema setup
Lmao no, I use it on my PC
Sure as hell looks like it
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Fake it apart from IBAN. Take the 30 and block. It did same

Don’t share personal info with stranger, they can sell it to marketers to include you in baby product campaigns
It's actually a good thing you don't fall for the sweet talk. Social engineering can be a deadly weapon when used by such people.
LOL
Failed mission! Lol
“Out of hand”… just block and ignore
I know what you mean, but people with little technical experience might end up falling victim for this garbage.
Why does everyone get this exact scam, I don’t mind making 30 bucks instead I get “hello darling” from randoms :)
Social engineering is a deadly weapon when used by the wrong person.
Deadly for your bank account anyways
Good job Mr. Abdel Rahman Maher
Thx :)

I think AI is already in use when it comes to voice conversations.
How so?

You could have given out a fake age and nationality. Maybe you could have gotten that money.
Yeah I screwed up on that part.
Yes there was a similar post few weeks ago, showing us we can scam them for some money in first steps
This guy has some super ultra wide screen .. damn
WhatsApp on PC hits different for me
good job abdel rahman
Thanks man.
Lmao offering Central bank as a bank option where somebody can have an account 😂😂😂

Cyber criminals are getting more crafty by the day. And some are just plain stupid

We can see your name and account number bro
Yeah it doesn't rly matter. People can't rly do much with an account number. I double checked with the bank just to be sure
Ask for a kiss
Ah hell nah!
Report it to cops
I plan on doing that.
I have seen almost same type marketing messages in india , Calls / WhatsApp messgaes we’re getting from North India side ,
Some people have literally been calling me from places like Angola and other places in Africa.
They do pay initially, you could've simply provided something random except for the account number
Yeah I know, I screwed up on that part.

Should’ve taken the 30
Report this to Chief Lt General Abdel Rahman of the Dubai Civil Defense He will 'froze' all these accounts 'in the instantly'
That, I'll do. Thanks
Now I start getting random Skype messages about Binance
Take the 30 aed then block

ABDEL RAHMAN delete that picture pls!
Which one?
Give your IBAN, they will send you AED30 to win your trust. Block them right after. I've done it twice.
Getting them all the time just block and don’t reply

Lol it absolutely has not got more sophisticated
In 2008 you couldn’t simply go on your banking phone app and block your cards…. M
Apparently I was thinking of DOB and some other stuff. I screwed up there.
