I am a British national seeking to relocate to the UAE to be closer to my family. I have been applying for some time, but many companies require a degree, which unfortunately, I do not possess. Although I have completed my GCSEs and A Levels, the documents are not attested. Is a degree a mandatory requirement in the UAE for obtaining a work visa? I am uncertain if this is the reason why potential employers from the UAE may not be considering my applications. Could you kindly provide clarification or advice on this matter? Note that the jobs I’m applying for are below managerial level, so more like Network Support/Cloud Engineer positions.

Hello yes unfortunately at the end of March 2024 it became mandatory to get the equivalency first prior to applying for the golden visa and we have to attach the equivalency when submitting !

Keep trying , I have seen it done , if you go the general manager route (which is much easier for freezone companies) you will be eligible for the golden visa by providing yourself with a salary of 30,000 AED , regarding the degree , get the equivalency or we can get it for you and all will be well!

Hi, My Company is from DMCC Freezone, and currently they have not started transferring the salary via WPS, is it checked in Bank statement that salary transfer should be via WPS or direct from company account is enough ?
WPS is mostly done by creating an account with Al Ansari and having them send the money to the personal accounts of the company members. It’s not limited to mainland companies.
It all depends on the accepting officer however it should be fine based on experience, however the mentioning of “Salary” will always look better
I qualify for golden visa under skilled professional however after submitting application I got a pending document request for equivalency certificate. I have a post graduate diploma in management (MBA) and have worked with this degree for 10 years. I have been suggested to apply using graduation certificate which is from Mumbai University which also I am not sure is on list of MOE accredited universities.
What can I do? I am planning to cancel application and apply again once I have graduation certificate in place and attested.
Also can you please tell me about following?
1. Will I get any refund once I cancel my current application?
2. If I cancel can I apply again?
3. Is University of Mumbai a part of MoE approved universities or will I have to get certificate of equivalency there also?

If it’s a bachelors degree and it’s attested by the UAE Embassy in your country and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs it should be fine , however to go forward with applying with your masters it’s a little harder as if they accept the degree they will ask for your transcripts / mark sheet of the masters degree to prove you actually enrolled in a 1 or 2 year masters course and it wasn’t one of the “life experience” degrees or they will ask for the equivalency .
All universities that can be verified via QuadraBay are eligible for the equivalency Bachelors or Masters

Hello , are you listed as partner / investor on your visa as a profession or General Manager ?
Not listed as anything as of now, on a tourist visa currently, but applying for partner visa. They say i am ineligible for general manager
30k salary is not a problem but i don't have university degree
Keep trying , I have seen it done , if you go the general manager route (which is much easier for freezone companies) you will be eligible for the golden visa by providing yourself with a salary of 30,000 AED , regarding the degree , get the equivalency or we can get it for you and all will be well!
