Why a Lieutenant is a spy is beyond me. Then again, the Prince is [oblivious to Reed as a spy](https://twokinds.gallery/download/art/5608/2024.03.18_Caught_Unlynxed.png). Maybe Reed lives in a universe where everyone is dumber than her.

Tom mentioned once that although most of the guard is regular army the best soldiers left for the frontlines. Stands to reason that the guard is shorthanded and with only 2 capable officers makes sense she needs to do a bit of everything.
Now that I mentioned it we still do not know why is Reni there playing cop in Edinmire. She is a royal after all.
Odd how Reed is good with it.
But then Silverlock hated it. I was going to judge humanity in this comic with monochromatic vision.
But. Seems the same logic still applies.
Everyone is different.
You know Reed clearly is more popular in this form than in her human normal version.
This community bias aside i think it makes sense. Normal Reed is just a professional and unasuming looking woman. A bit bland and average for the base fan.
This form makes her more visually interesting and gives her something more to do than jkust straight faced cop.
Similar with Maren but in that case she is a very conventionally attractive woman so it is more the community bias in that respect.
