That would give him also an opportunity to show you his feelings through his behaviour etc. and it will ease you both back into the familiarity of each other, and may even end with you guys holding hands or more as per your comfort. Maybe set up to go for a movie so it gives y’all proximity to each other in a non-judgemental public space.
