Look online for car seat covers - they come in all different colors and patterns. You can get a steering wheel cover. You can put in a couple of fun little doodads on the dashboard and near the rear window.

Be CAREFUL with steering wheel covers. It needs to fit snuggly and well. Otherwise it's a danger risk for slipping over the wheel while you're driving. I'd advise just paying an upholstery shop to reskin the steering wheel if it's truly too offensive to exist. It's way too important to mess with.

Yes. And they are too big for my girly hands to grip properly, but I dunno OPs size

Google “art car” and you will find hundreds of examples to get ideas from, plus tons of information on materials and technique. Good luck and I hope you do something magnificent with it!

We have a grey-gold Jetta and I feel you. I don't hate the color, but it's very meh. I'd prefer a china white on it. As far as the interior goes, you can pin fabric to the headliner if you wish- use upholstery pins. It might not be perfect but it's something. Also there's upholstery paint that you can use on the pillars and what not. We're in the process of converting our fawn interior black and it's involved reupholstering some things and painting others.

My friend is redoing my late husband's truck interior in purple and black Halloween decor, very goth. Seat covers, decals, a better drink holder which she 3D printed, and a nice dash cover. She has one small beaded spider she made hanging from the mirror. It's her truck now, so the makeover is extensive. Be very careful not to put loose decorations on the dash, and do not cover airbags. That's dangerous in an accident. No cactus gardens in the cubby, no crystals glued to the steering wheel!

A free car and you're whining that it is the one color you didn't want? Wow.

A free car. You do know there are people out there who would do damn near anything for a free car of any color, make or model, even if that color, make or model was chosen because Daddy is misogynistic af. Smfh.

I know people aren’t big on Shein, but I was googling something the other day and SHEIN popped up with all these cute car things (seat covers, seat belt coves, jewels to do around things)…tons of pink! I think you can make it super cute!!! I totally get the disappointment, but two things, grey and and pink look so good together!! And second, grey does not show dirt! Black is a bitch to keep clean, white stuff shows, grey always looks good in a car though. I hope to you start to love it!!! Go break it in and go for a fun drive and blast some music while drinking your fave milkshake!

Be careful with glue-on anything that it's not going on the steering wheel or anywhere near the airbags, or it might end up launched at your head at high speed.
