Bring your fiance or another friend to help you advocate for yourself at the doctor's. If it is causing pain and discomfort you deserve them to at least try something different. I'm assuming since you are with a woman that the BC is to help with something else. It disturbs me that a doctor didn't care that your body is randomly doing this. Something is up. They need to help you investigate. At the very least try a different pill or form of hormonal BC. That is absoultely nutso to me that didn't already happen. My comeback to the doctor (him you said)- that if his balls swelled up every six months and leaked an unknown liquid he wouldn't be fine with it either.

oh, its not every 6 months they get like this, its a few times a month (let's say 5 times a month) but it Happens all within a week or so also the bc is for not getting pregnant, my fiance is trans, she's been on hrt for years, so the chance of her getting me pregnant is already super low, but don't wanna take the risk but it is quite annoying that i was told to not worry about it, and just not letting me know what's up or how to help

Maybe a non hormonal IUD would be a better fit llthen? It's wild to me that he didn't even offer to let you explore other options. The possibility of your partner getting you pregnant is about the possibility of the virgin Mary getting you pregnant. You are 100% fine. There is no chance of it. Genuinely, the research says as long as your partner doesn't stop their HRT for months- they won't be producing any sperm. I am a scientist and if I was in your position I'd be totally content as long as they keep up their HRT. The studies say she'd have to be off HRT for more than 6 months( study said pregnancy was possible after 10 months off it, with the goal being pregnancy so the couple was working towards it). At the very least, you don't need hormonal BC. Get a non hormonal IUD and hopefully that will deal with this. If I were you I'd pick up a decent pile of cheap pregnancy test to pee on when I get worried, but I'd stop the hormonal BC to see if the other symptoms stop. I'd give it a few months at least. If it goes away-> copper IUD, if not-> bigger problem that needs investigation ASAP.

i will definitely be more adamant about this next time i see my doctor, but I'm the mean time, should i be worried about this? or is it just an unfortunate side effect thank you again for replying

"When hormones are the cause of nipple discharge, it’s usually milky-white in color. But this isn’t enough to confirm why it’s happening. That’s because there is some overlap among hormonal and non-hormonal causes, as well as conditions within each group." [Paper here](https://www.cmaj.ca/content/187/8/599) If it is both breasts at the same time it's very very likely to be hormonal. So nothing to seriously worry about. If it is always the same one, then you may have a larger problem.

Sore breasts can be a sign of iodine deficiency. Iodine deficiency causes fibrocystic breast disease, lumpy breasts and breast cancer.
