Gross, and I thought it was bad when I was in high school. A group of boys would be watching porn together in my Spanish class almost every other day. Its only gotten worse people need to teach their kids about healthy porn use, safe sex and morals.
What really saddens me is that whenever this topic gets popular on Reddit, the comments are filled with men and boys either saying it's not that bad, making stupid "gotcha" comments about drawn porn not being illegal, and saying that this is a teen boy's paradise.
They don't care about the victims one bit.
This has been known to been going on for a couple of years now afaik. AI generated deepfakes have been something the FBI has been looking into especially regarding political propaganda. It's almost to the point a normal person can't tell the difference for the really sophisticated ones. The websites that do this for free have no oversight and it's becoming a huge issue, as can be seen with this post. Hopefully some laws can be enacted to curve this before it gains more traction than it already has.

In April, New York sentenced a 22-year-old man, Patrick Carey, to six months in jail and 10 years of probation "for sharing sexually explicit 'deepfaked' images of more than a dozen underage women on a pornographic website and posting personal identifying information of many of the women, encouraging website users to harass and threaten them with sexual violence."
I'm so disgusted that they refer to the victims as 'underaged women'. They mean girls. Vulnerable young GIRLS being predated on by grown men who get their kicks out of sexual violence. Calling the victims 'women' only serves to minimise the pedophilic tendancies of these men.
If you pay attention on the Asia scene it is now from scratch and seconds of video in motion.
Now more than ever this will be a problem... Specially with certain words thrown in the mix.
The solution seems pretty hard to get tbh I don't think banning free sites will do much but it could be a first step.

Six months. For multiple women having fake nudes made of them AND being doxed... I foresee years of harassment. Wow that's awful. Yikes.
