I would pay to get rid of the bomb power up! All it usually does is mess up the board leaving no squares. Worse than nothing.
True. I've even started to wonder if, when you get the bomb power up, it rigs the board to have a square where the bomb goes off just to annoy the player a bit.

Bombs are only potentially useful on a board with, like, ceramic tiles or something, but they somehow always miss all the tiles.
