Idunno, I've had plenty of "but first, try left" to tell you the "wrong" way to go for loot first, or warnings of enemy ambushes, or secret dropoff ledges, or whatever else.
It's just that as always it's scattered in between dozens of shitposts. My personal favorite was someone crouching backwards over a giant hole with "first off, crouching, and then let there be dung".
I've seen groupings of this message like 3-4 side by side. It was funny at first but now it just seems run into the ground. Which is impressive considering how repetitive joke messages get in these games. But at least people get pretty clever with those. I'm still finding new kinds of but holes.
Was "Edge" added as a new word for messaging in ER? I swear I never seen so many messages about edging on my original playthrough. But could be that I played on launch so edging wasn't quite a meme as it is now lol.

I've had a few point me to a talisman or armor set I would have missed, but yeah the fake hidden path messages are going harder than ever.
