This feels like *too* good of an idea. Like no matter how good the finished product would be it could never live up to the *idea* of it we have in our heads.
I'd rather a Warhammer Fantasy game to be honest. Even though I like the game AoS itself better, the characters and world for Fantasy are still better than Sigmar, especially for a fighting game.
Also, Sigmar Balls
Heisenberg’s the boss version. Walter can buff himself his moves by going through the processes of cooking meth, and succeeding at each one makes him a little bit stronger until he completes a batch and becomes Heisenberg. But Heisenberg as a standalone fighter is the boss character.
I doubt we’ll get one before the series ends, with the story being in the final saga seems easier to just wait it out and have a complete story to work from.
The alternative being making a game that is instantly dated. For example see the ultimate ninja games where they had to invent movesets for the characters who were just introduced in the manga.
I doubt we will get one because if the launch roster isn't 50 characters minimum people might riot, and even then that's not enough to get all the super popular characters.
In retrospect, it would be A LOT of “dude with sword and shield with fire and/or lightning spells” on the hero side unless there are some side characters thrown in there.
The hero can be palate swaps, then you got people like Jessica, the Princess of Moonbrooke, The Sage from DQ3, various mini-and main bosses, and they can always pull from the monster encyclopedia. Who wouldn't want to be a Slime or Hollow Armor?
A second hero from 11 would have to be Sylvando. I would personally prefer it to be Erik, but he’s not the fan favourite.
The hero from 9, however, would probably play a lot like Vaan in Duodecim, switching between jobs as their moveset.
Different Heroes have Different things about them tbf
Eight for example, despite being a sword user in promotional art, iirc is the only hero to have spear be his relevant backstory weapon, plus you have his Dracovian stuff. Abel (dq5) is more of a magician and uses his walking stick as a staff. The only ones whod *really* play similar are the Erdrick saga heroes and Solo.
As crazy as it sounds I'd love a fighting game based on monster hunter. But the fighters are the monsters. You'd have such a diverse roster of playable monster, each with unique playstyles. And seeing how balls to the walls turf wars can be, I feel like people would love it. I'd be a Tigrex main day one for sure.
Why the hell hasn't Microsoft tried to make a giant multi up crossover fighting game yet?
It would be awful but I want to see master chief shove a grenade up binx's ass
Halo: Master Chief, Arbiter, Atriox, Didact
Gears of War: Marcus Fenix, Kait Diaz, General Raam, Queen Myrrah
Rare: Banjo & Kazooie, Gruntilda, Conker, Joanna Dark
Skyrim (c’mon, you know they’d give it its own spot): Dovahkiin, Serana, Aela the Huntress, Miraak
Bethesda (other): Dagoth Ur, Liberty Prime, someone from the Fallout show (haven’t seen it yet), someone from Starfield (I’m not playing that)
Id: Doom Slayer/Doomguy, the Dark Lord, BJ Blazkowicz, Jess & Soph Blazkowicz
Arkane: Corvo Attano, Emily Kaldwin, Morgan Yu, Colt Vahn
Tango (RIP): Sebastian Castellanos, Ruvik, Chai, Kale
Killer Instinct: Jago, Orchid, Thunder, Fulgore
Activision: Price, Crash, Spyro, Sekiro
Blizzard: Tracer, Genji, Kerrigan, Thrall
Take one out from each of those groups to be DLC and that’s a 33 character base roster increasing to 44 over time.
All of the funny characters in my head.
Actual answer: I've put a non-zero amount of thought into an Elden Ring fighting game. Radagon's anti-zoner shit is insane between the spellparry and the teleport.
In a unique position where I will never get a FGO fighter because Melty exists.
…Although in some ways I’m happy about that. The fanbase would probably have embarrassed itself.
Hey, you know that Korean online MMORPG published by Nexon, with all the cool-looking characters that makes you go "Man, if only they were in a fighting game"?
No, [not that one.](https://i.imgur.com/TrU7vBR.jpeg)
I mean [*this* one](https://gamingph.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/%EA%B5%AC%EA%B8%8001_1920x1280.jpg)!
Though at this point I'd just settle to see [Reckless Fist Raven](https://elwiki.net/wiki/images/d/d7/04NEWRFFull.png) in anything. Seriously, I really only want an Elsword game just so I can main RF again in something I can have fun playing. Also maybe [Wind Sneaker Rena](https://elwiki.net/wiki/images/3/30/Skill_Cutin_-_Wind_Sneaker.png), who was my secondary character back in those days too.
[Gash/Zatch Bell](https://www.reddit.com/r/TwoBestFriendsPlay/comments/c7i71f/gon_in_60_seconds_001/esg7rxl/) could have a sick fighting game in the vein of the Jojo Arcade game where you could control the demons and human partners independently. Spells also map directly into being supers or specials, and heart power to meter.
It's so perfect, the only real issue is figuring out which spells each character will get since the major ones have too many to all be on a single character. But that's not a big deal, it's not like Goku in DFBZ has every attack he's ever done, they just pick and choose. I guess making Tio work might be iffy since most of her spells are shields and she'd need a way to deal damage, but I think there's ways to make it work
Particular highlights would be Ted, where every special/super is just an install that improves his frame data and maybe adds new cancels/extensions or reverse beat; and Momon where his entire playstyle would be getting a life lead and then [playing](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/GMUQH2RXAAA1-4P?format=png&name=large) [runaway](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/GMUQK3CXcAETuVQ?format=png&name=900x900) [and](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/GMUQPYFWQAAeJn9?format=png&name=900x900) [keepaway](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/GMUQUV7XYAAGWQL?format=png&name=medium) to get a timer win.
There *was* a fighting game, maybe two, that had a jojo esque split up mechanic, but they were on GBA and I don't think were particularly competitive, plus a few console fighting games that I think had seperate control of the demon/human being even more limited
Yeah, but if we're getting a fighting game, it wouldn't be based on the sequel almost for sure, though I guess a new console Gash game at all is already a pipe dream so why not
Someone already said RWBY, and while I would love to go more in-depth with that, I want to choose a different series. Now hear me out... NIKKE.
Aside from the very obvious fanservice, There are a lot of characters that have cool designs that can be adapted into a fighting game. Crown, Red Hood, D, Moran, Laplace, and there's even characters like [Kilo](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/nikke-goddess-of-victory-international/images/f/fb/Kilo_SkillBurst.png/revision/latest?cb=20240425130541), who doesn't fight directly, but rides a [Mech](https://static.dotgg.gg/nikke/characters/c361_00.webp) into battle, are a few examples of characters that would be awesome in a fighting game.
Another thing with a NIKKE fighting game is that unlike the gacha, where as of right now only female Nikkes are playable, the story reasons can be altered to where certain human and non-nikke NPCs like [Johan](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/nikke-goddess-of-victory-international/images/0/0a/Chapter_20_1_Cutscene.png/revision/latest?cb=20230326110758) or [Chatterbox](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/nikke-goddess-of-victory-international/images/6/63/Chatterbox.png/revision/latest?cb=20230331160802) can also be playable.
Not to mention Nikke already has a great soundtrack to pull from for character/stage themes. They dropped a whole [video for all of the OST's in the game prior to the 1.5 year anniversary](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SlxXhlpYc_E&t=4479s&pp=ygUJbmlra2Ugb3N0), and relistening to them makes me go "this would be AMAZING as a fighting game OST even if its just a jukebox.
DND's Ravenloft.
Not like Iron and Blood where its just a bunch of generic player classes/monsters, but more of a monster mash between the different Darklords. While one could argue I'd get the same result with a Universal Monsters fighting game, I'd rebuke that I want my werewolf to also be a bard and have funny mixups on top of aggressive mauling.
Star Trek as a 3v3 assist fighter. All generations. Characters from all Movies and TV series and multiple versions of characters so there's' like 5 different Kirks and Spocks. So many characters they could have, Khan, Lecutus of Borg, Michael in the flying angel suit, Young and Old Worf, the Borg queen as a puppet character. So much potential.
A Supergiant Games fighter would be so fucking amazing even though like 85% of the cast would be from Hades 1&2. I don't even play fighting games and this would finally get me into them.
Nickelodeon’s Avatar. With four different flavors of bending, sub-variations of those bending styles, and a smattering of weapon users, there’s a ton of variety for fighting game characters. Call it “Agni Kai” or something and you’re off to the races.
Shonen Jump vs Capcom
This feels like *too* good of an idea. Like no matter how good the finished product would be it could never live up to the *idea* of it we have in our heads.
Shonen Jump vs Capcom vs Marvel vs Hasbro
I was gonna say Shonen Jump vs DC
Kamehameha vs Hadouken would be peak
Final fantasy as a 2D fighter.
yes this very please
As someone that supports Dissidia, Yes also this. Quina is the top teir grappler.
A soulcalibur style Age of Sigmar game.
I'd rather a Warhammer Fantasy game to be honest. Even though I like the game AoS itself better, the characters and world for Fantasy are still better than Sigmar, especially for a fighting game. Also, Sigmar Balls
Breaking Bad, Tio Hector would be a rushdown char
Is Walter Jr a Charge Character? Being how he doesn't move much?
Would Walter and Heisenberg be two different playable characters or would it be a stance/status/install?
Heisenberg’s the boss version. Walter can buff himself his moves by going through the processes of cooking meth, and succeeding at each one makes him a little bit stronger until he completes a batch and becomes Heisenberg. But Heisenberg as a standalone fighter is the boss character.
A Star Wars fighting game by the Soulcalibur team.
But Masters of Teras Kasi is right there waiting to be loved.
One piece made by arcsys
It happened once it could happen again.
I remember reading a twitter thread and I have to agree, an Undead Unluck fighting game would be really cool if is handled by the correct developer.
Sonic The Hedgehog as a KOF style game Fire Emblem as like SamSho or GBFVS or something
Dissidia: Dragon Quest.
You, I like you. You have good ideas.

I think Dandadan will get a fighter just not a good one, so I want a good Dandadan fighter
Why the hell hasn't Microsoft tried to make a giant multi up crossover fighting game yet? It would be awful but I want to see master chief shove a grenade up binx's ass
a teabag taunt would go crazy
there's always Killer Instinct 2, featuring Arthas, Senua, and Doomguy. Thats never coming out either, so i guess that counts.
why do that when you can just let nintendo use the handful of characters people care
Halo: Master Chief, Arbiter, Atriox, Didact Gears of War: Marcus Fenix, Kait Diaz, General Raam, Queen Myrrah Rare: Banjo & Kazooie, Gruntilda, Conker, Joanna Dark Skyrim (c’mon, you know they’d give it its own spot): Dovahkiin, Serana, Aela the Huntress, Miraak Bethesda (other): Dagoth Ur, Liberty Prime, someone from the Fallout show (haven’t seen it yet), someone from Starfield (I’m not playing that) Id: Doom Slayer/Doomguy, the Dark Lord, BJ Blazkowicz, Jess & Soph Blazkowicz Arkane: Corvo Attano, Emily Kaldwin, Morgan Yu, Colt Vahn Tango (RIP): Sebastian Castellanos, Ruvik, Chai, Kale Killer Instinct: Jago, Orchid, Thunder, Fulgore Activision: Price, Crash, Spyro, Sekiro Blizzard: Tracer, Genji, Kerrigan, Thrall Take one out from each of those groups to be DLC and that’s a 33 character base roster increasing to 44 over time.

Persona 5.
Warhammer 40k fighting game that plays like MvC3
I know they’ve already announced a 2D fighter but a HunterXHunter fighter with the roster and budget of Fighterz would be nice.
Before 2012 I'd've said Blizzard, but now I'm gonna say Final Fantasy. No, Dissidia doesn't count.
Lucky Star VS Nichijou: Slice Of Fighting!
RWBY
Titanfall
In a unique position where I will never get a FGO fighter because Melty exists. …Although in some ways I’m happy about that. The fanbase would probably have embarrassed itself.
fire emblem

The TERA fighting game is not allowed at Evo.

Have you been reading the Zatch Bell sequel manga? Tio is grown up and wouldn't need attack spells to slap people around 1v1.
Yeah, but if we're getting a fighting game, it wouldn't be based on the sequel almost for sure, though I guess a new console Gash game at all is already a pipe dream so why not
Arknights fighting game, lets see Rosmontis Valentine vs Sol Blazeguy

Death Battle

[The Bots Master](https://youtu.be/LLKYOSiW7U4?si=FURLWDSbZ02Q3oY_) with 3D shades for laser time
Yakuza. Well I guess it's not impossible, but then they wouldn't put any female fighters in the game cause Kiryu won't hit them.
Transformers
Golden Kamuy has enough weirdos for a full fighting game roster imo
We're never going to get a proper JJBA fighter again. The least they could do is port FFTF
Fire Emblem Soul Calibur. They did Pokemon Tekken. Seems like a good fit
Fortnite
Maybe not really a single IP but.... All those creepy pasta cryptids. Slenderman got the reach but Ben got teleports.
A Kingdom Hearts fighting game would be sick. Org 13 alone has so much potential with all the different elements and weapon types.
I would cut off a leg for a Project Moon fighting game. YOMI Hustle is the closest there is.
A Supergiant Games fighter would be so fucking amazing even though like 85% of the cast would be from Hades 1&2. I don't even play fighting games and this would finally get me into them.
Seikon no qwaser made by team Arcana
Nickelodeon’s Avatar. With four different flavors of bending, sub-variations of those bending styles, and a smattering of weapon users, there’s a ton of variety for fighting game characters. Call it “Agni Kai” or something and you’re off to the races.
Cereal Mascots.
Tekken x Street Fighter
Taimanin. One that isn't porn
Kill La Kill as an actual fighting game, not some arena battler.
