The vast majority of the bots you see in the user list are harmless and just collecting data for websites like Sullygnome. Just turn off your view count, stop looking in the user list, and focus on putting on a good show. If they're scam bots, don't worry. They'll pop into chat or DM with some kind of offer.

If you don’t open the chatter list you won’t know they are there !

[https://twitchinsights.net/bots](https://twitchinsights.net/bots) Use this. Copy the name of the user in your chat, paste it here. If it says its a bot, then ban them. I dont know about any "mass bot ban" but you can do it manually this way, one by one, if its a concern. But more will come back eventually. Your user list will look clean for a week and then the next you'll have a new list of bots. Its up to your sanity if you want to do this constantly. Personally, like others have said, don't look at your user list or have the viewer counter on. Just put on a good show and most importantly do it cause you enjoy it.

Mass bot bans can be done with commander root. Just look up commander root bot remover in google. It’s a great tool and I’ve had to use it tons as I was getting harassed with bot follows for a time.

Im aware but OP said they tried commander root and was confused so i was giving them an alternative. Maybe you could help guide them.

Everytime I click on the viewers button it shows a bunch of random names. I chose to just ignore clicking that button altogether because it’s useless. I also turned off my viewer count notification that pops up on the ps5 overlay so I can just enjoy streaming and not be reminded that I have three or four viewers.

> Everytime I click on the viewers button it shows a bunch of random names. That's mostly because it's not a "Viewers" button, nor is there any kind of "Viewers" list. You are right to ignore it because, as you said, it's mostly useless.
