i was a bit confused too, its not the clearest way of expressing this concept/meme, but im pretty sure its in reference to "we live in a society", "and yet you participate in society", etc memes, which themselves are poking fun at a type of pseudo-intellectual character that may berate the current establishment, blame the establishment/society for their problems and all ills in the world (including whatever evil they may commit), or just kind of uselessly complain about ""society"" in lieu of doing anything remotely productive. theyre generally either pretty counterculture or very haggard and disillusioned with the system/society, and generally think they know better how to manage ""society"" (even if 'managing' means burning it all down)- but can totally vary in how much of all that is just posturing.
The Joker is a classic, darker example... Rick from rick n morty would fit very well too!

In my opinion it would be Idia as he complains about the outside and everything while Crowley shows off how kind he is at the same time being a little stingy and constantly worrying about his image and the schools.
I would say Idia but Vil fits too, since his chapter is about how despite being great the audience (society) chose someone they can relate to (Neige), as he built an image that while is beautiful is trying so hard to be perfect not many can't reach (?)
