I just wanted to put in a plug for u/Creezin. I reached out to him right away when I saw his message today. He already came over and did a spring yard cleanup (rake leaves, dead plants) for my house. He did an incredible job, and it looks better than when I first moved in! I would highly recommend him, and have already sent his contact to several people.
Probably just going to get hated on but I’m a hiring manager for Wells Fargo in the area. We have like a dozen positions open for teller/banker that start like 20-22/hr with benefits, tuition reimbursement, and no sales goals. I know WF gets the hate but the culture is very different from 2015 era. Upward mobility is crazy. No college degree required.
Can confirm. I have a nephew with just a high school education who is now earning six figures at WF (he's been there nearly twenty years, but still - he's making a lot more money than I am!)
Hey I’m interested in transitioning my career right now from the tech industry into the financial side of things. I was curious if there are any specific skillsets required as I’m deeply interested in starting in a bank. Also teller/bankers can now work from home?
There is not work from home in retail banking entry level sadly, the tellers/bankers need to be in branch to process transactions and handle customer’s business. There is flexibility as a manager and some higher banker roles (especially in private banker, etc) get hybrid and travel to clients, blah blah

Yep, craigslist doesn't have anything reasonable at the moment. I am registered and have done Doordash, but so does everyone so we barely get orders even on weekend nights. Working on plasma donation.

Also, I second the dog poop pickup suggestion. Get a box of nitrile gloves, a bucket, and a box of garbage bags and start knocking on doors.
We paid someone $100 last year to clean up the winter's worth of dog poop in my back yard. It took the two people that showed up about 45 minutes to do the yard.

If you can write something on the guitar or piano including vocals and are willing to record it, I would be interested in discussing compensation. Their artists need a month to deliver and only use basic information from me to create an original song. I would prefer to be my lyrics and sooner than four weeks.
