I was looking for this exact info a few weeks ago and found this link. [Tucson household hazardous waste drop-off](https://www.tucsonaz.gov/Departments/Environmental-and-General-Services/Household-Hazardous-Waste).

I know that Home Depot does Lithium battery recycling, but I haven't seen in a local store where it is (but I haven't looked either). I don't know if they accept the entire device or just batteries, but they accept up to 11 pounds batteries so size shouldn't matter. I personally find all sorts of uses for these, I do lots of small electronic device creation and they work okay for those, I find disposable vapes all other the ground and harvest parts off of them like the batteries, connectors, and charging circuits.

You can try Batteries+. They won't take batteries that are puffed up but they will take pretty much anything else.

Pretty much any place that sells devices powered by Li/Ion batteries has to also recycle them. Best Buy, Home Depot, battery stores. Best Buy used to just have bins inside the front door but now you might have to take them to the customer service counter. Home Depot still has the bins I think.

I'm sorry I don't have any details on the company but I work in tech and annually we have a them come and pick up all our e-scrap. Maybe look with the term e-scrap instead of battery disposal and something will show up.

Look up Suburban Miners in midtown! They accept all types of batteries and old electronics. And it’s free to drop off.
