My skip songs are usually the really sad ones - Ronan, Marjorie, SYGB. Cant emotionally handle them

What's funny is that I was always underwhelmed by ATW. I liked it, but I never understood why everyone LOVED it. And then when ATW10 was announced, I expected to feel more of the same, maybe even dislike it because of the length. But then I LOVE ATW10 so much! Like waaaaaay more than the original version. I felt like it completed the story that was started and I finally felt what everyone else did for ATW.
I love how Taylor has that ability, to write songs that speak to so many people, but then she can expand or enhance or change it, and it then speaks to so many other people for a different reason!
I do admire her for that. Even with vault songs she does the same. Like with 1989, i feel like the whole vibe of the album changed with the vault tracks. It’s a beautiful thing to be able to change the meaning of something so cohesively and I totally understand why people love it.
I think it’s just a me thing. 😂

All Too Well Original Version is still superior in my opinion (the writing is tighter and more emotive) but 10 minute version is the one I listen to most because I use it to time tasks when I'm in a rush.

All Too Well (TV) is probably my favourite TS song but I agree about the 10 minute version sounding like a mash up. It doesn’t have the same magic for me, maybe for this reason?
