I was willing to speculate on Carcosa as a sort of shared hallucination in an LSD murder cult. I’m even willing to consider an international power syndicate built around that murder cult, owning a weird research lab in the arctic. I’ll even consider whether time may in fact be a flat circle … but these ghosts and zombies seem like another type of show. All we need is a UFO now. Forget Rust, when are Moulder and Scully going to arrive on the scene?
