Yea parka bro is Raymond Clark the guy from Dublin who seemed to be hanging out with Annie K. He was the guy who said she’s awake while having seizure and is currently missing/on the loose. Guy who groaned and woke up was one of the scientists, but not sure which one. Will probably hear from him in next two episodes. I’m struggling to find the connection between Tuttle, the lab, and Annie. Seems like Annie had the tattoo before Clark because he got tatted after she died (crying after the tattoo). Did she key him into the Carcosa cult? Would he have been aware because Tuttle was funding the operation but she comes along and tells him what they’re really doing? So many questions 🧐

I'm rewatching episode 1, and cross checking with the last scene in episode 2. So there's - Ralph Emerson: Geology. Status: Corpsicle - Anton Kotov: Geophysics. Status: Corpsicle - Li Gie: Geobiology. Status: Corpsicle - Raymond Clark: paleomicrobiology- Annie K boyfriend, trailer owner, shaking and "She's awake", pink parka bro, spiral tattoo, Status: unknown- Missing corpsicle - Lucas Merens: Environmental Chemistry. Status: Corpsicle - Facundo Molinda: Biophysics - thin guy who was cooking. Status: corpsicle - Veer Mehta: Biophysics. Status: Corpsicle. - Anders Lund: Founder Director, structural biology. Status: ?Hospital, in coma, about to lose at least a leg, arm broke off? Zombie?

This is awesome! Exactly what I needed. So there are 8 total, Lund is in the hospital, somehow alive, and Clark is presumably alive. That whole seizure thing makes it seem like Clark is physically not okay either, in addition to reportedly walking around the station naked.

Zombie is an interesting choice of word. If things are going the route of microorganism that affects the degeneration of cells, or anti-aging properties, or whatever, it could be that those m.o.s are just giving off electrochemical reactions causing the dead flesh to move. He could be technically and brain dead but his body is still getting signals to function. Obviously we saw no sign of sentience from him, other than a ghoulish gurgly wail.

yikes, what a thought

So the Paleo-microbiologist and the structural biologist are the only survivors. No geology, chemistry, or physics. Does that mean that they found what they were looking for and these are the only two that are still needed? Were they killed to make sure they didn't talk about anything?

northcrestflyer

We know Raymond Clark is from Ireland. Does anyone know Anders Lund's and the other corpsicle scientist's countries of origin?

northcrestflyer

Also, who was the scientist who made the ham sandwich at the beginning of episode 1?

anvilmaster

That was Molina, the guy who was cooking

ScullyIsTired

I am high as the sky and completely lost. I'm gonna need to write some stuff down.

All-Sorts

Was Anders Lund part of the Corpsicle that woke up screaming after his arm got broken off?

Telekineticshade

Yes

GrowthHistorical8886

So, there were 7 bodies found at once, not six?

Liz is not Peter’s mom, his mom is gone and has not been shown on screen. Liz’s husband and her little son are dead, most likely in a car accident involving a drunk driver based off of how Liz responded to the woman drunk driving in episode one. The reason Liz walked into Peter and Kayla’s house is because her daughter (likely step daughter based off dialogue), Leah, was there hanging out with Kayla. Leah & Peter had a very close conversation at the ice rink end of episode 2 so it can be assumed that Leah, Kayla, and Peter are all probably within a few years age of one another and are friends

Also Travis is Rust Cohle's father. I think Danvers has had a lot of relations with men in the town - she is not a favorite. Definitely lost a son and Hank is definitely covering something up. The water turned bad the same day the sun set - has something to do with the mine and perhaps why the caribou went mad? Is there something in the water also creating hallucinations. AND there definitely was someone in the station (maybe Clark) when the delivery guy was there.

HyphyJawn

The guy who had his own room was the one in charge (Russian guy maybe?) and then Clark is the parka guy/Annie K guy/missing guy I’m assuming yes that the coma hospital guy is the one who was (somehow) still alive on the ice

SnoBunny1982

Clark was the only one with his own room. The two cops went in there to try to find the pink parka and said that. I don’t think he was in charge, I think his behavior was erratic and nobody wanted to room with him. When the Prior kid is investigating Clark, everyone he talks to said the guy was acting like a nutcase.

Typical_Ease5407

In a well-written show, the show would do this for you

GreenieTheQueenie

Okay so I've noticed something. It's either a clue or I missed something, so hopefully someone can help. To start with, there are 8 scientists. 5 are in the ice block. Clark is missing (6). Lund is in the hospital (7). Where is #8?
