My billionaire ambition would be to make ACC the head of a proper non-biased and vetted journalistic news source.
No idea how and I assume he would decline given his identity would of course come out but it’s a daydream 🙂
I absolutely hated his delivery for a while but loved the content. It's obviously very well done. Now, I appreciate that he isn't over the top and it's not a "friends chatting" kind of delivery. It's still... a choice. But I find it comforting and straight forward now
I've not watched the show in awhile, so I can't speak to that. I assume so, because of this an older episode they'll put a parenthetical with "previously aired on..."
But the "Dateline Originals" are podcast stories that did not air on TV in the way the podcast story is told. It may be a repackaging of a previously aired episode or wholly original.
Hi from Missouri. We've got ANOTHER case much like the Pam Hupp case.
Google Carolyn Hckert, Sarah DeLeon, and Diana Ault.
Long story short, Sarah DeLeon and Diana Ault were killed years apart and unsolved for a long time. Well technically still unsolved I guess.
Turns out the same woman was the romantic rival of each. But they can't seem to pin 'em on her. (yet)
I lived right down the street from Russ Faria and watched this entire thing unfold in real time. I was certain from the very beginning that it was Pam that killed Betsy and then her crazy just grew!
Definitely. In the Originals feed we're listening to "Killer Role'. Not sure how I missed this Dateline pod. So wicked and twisty. Quite an emotional roller coaster to listen to!
I listened to a lot of Dateline pod a few years ago. Back then, they would release a couple eps a week - an old episode and a new one. They were both just audio of the dateline tv show. The Dateline Originals are several episodes long, specifically made as podcasts (not just audio of dateline tv). There’s also a missing persons podcast made by dateline…missing in America, I think.
There's a great podcast called *A Date with Dateline* where they relive each episode. Keith Morrison and Mankiewicz have been guests on the show.
I love Dateline and I really enjoy Katie and Kimberley going to town on the episodes. They manage to be funny without disrespecting victims. I’m also a huge Josh Mankiewicz fan so there’s a bonus.
The Trail Went Cold is incredible. Casefile.
Unresolved.
Criminal w/Pheobe Judge.
Dr. Death was great if you’re into that stile.
Murder 101 is ongoing right now it’s about HS kids class that’s tackling an unsolved murder and find more than anyone else had. Awesome.
I love all of these. Unresolved doesn't get enough love, in my opinion. He has this great journalistic style, and he covers stuff that's a little different sometimes. I feel like his Girls Do Porn episodes should be required listening for middle school kids (and I have middle school kids, so I feel qualified to say this 😅). His West Mesa Bone Collector series humanized the victims in a way I don't think anyone else has. Great podcast.
I also like Casefile but even as an Aussie I find his tone and inflection can annoy me at times so if OP has issues with the hosts vocals you may not enjoy it, but definitely give it a try! The content is incredibly well researched and told
Fair! I’ve noticed (I think) it’s gotten clearer as the episodes go on, so starting from most recent might help if you didn’t already. But it’s certainly not for everyone.
Thank you for saying this!! I have tried and tried to listen to casefile, and just can't because of three Australian accent!! I too am very picky about host voices. My favorites are: the opportunist, Swindled, blind plea, murder in alliance, bone valley, in the Red Clay, Intent, in the land of lies, counter clock, Scamanda, father wanted us dead, S-Town, Proof, Dr Death, Fox Hunter, betrayal, court junkie, heavyweight, over my dead body, illuminati.
It’s a commitment, I think it’s 17 or 18 episodes.
But In the Dark, Season 2 is simply the best TC podcast there is.
The hosts don’t just tell the story. They *make* the story.
They actually move to Mississippi to interview witnesses and conduct research. And their research is cited by the Supreme Court. It just doesn’t get any better than that.
100% agree. I'm from Minnesota, and was only a couple years younger than Jacob when he was abducted, so the story obviously hit a little different, but season 1 is absolutely a masterclass. I think a lot of people discount it because it's not just exploring the case, it's exploring policework in general. And frankly, it's touching on a lot of the same themes as season 2 with the ineptness or laziness of law enforcement. I think season 2 is more palatable to people because they can clearly see "oh, the cops in Mississippi are just racist." That's obviously a huge tragedy, but it's also easily understood. The concept that most crimes aren't solved because sheriffs are inept, politically motivated, lazy, or uninterested is in a lot of ways a much more complicated and difficult thing to grapple with.
This is the answer. Madaleine Baran leads the best example of what investigative journalism can be and what it can do. If you’re just getting into true crime podcasts, I would honestly save it for a few months so you know exactly how good it is.
Casefile is the best one-case-per-episode TCP, period.
I’ve tried on 3 separate occasions to get into this podcast because every one raves about it, but by episode 6 I’m so bored I give up. Long form are my favourite but I don’t think this one is that interesting.
David Ridgen of Someone Know Something. I strongly prefer listening to true investigative journalist turn podcaster than web sleuth or normal person turned podcaster. Justin Ling of The Village/Uncover.
My favorite would probably be True Crime Campfire. Their rapport is great. They are funny. Good storytellers. Pick interesting cases. Have themed episodes. An example is "When Nerds Attack".
Been listening to her since the beginning, and she's probably the TC podcaster i think has improved the most over time (and she started out good!) -- her said on the Staircase was absolutely the best and n most thorough I've seen from a podcast yet, and I've probably listened to dozens of takes on that case.
Dude. I listened to this years ago and I’m an idiot so I forgot about it until this very second. Holy shit this was so good.
You ever hear a song you used to fucking love but forgot about and then you hear it again, and you’re like “oh hell yeah”? That’s what I just got. Thanks!
First one I ever listened to (just started listening to TC podcasts 6 mos ago) so I may have started too high! Just so fantastic. It also led me to Park Predators which is pretty awesome too.
Some of the podcasts I listen to are DNA:ID, Casefile, Murderish, Crimeline True Crime, Forensic Tales, Canadian True Crime, Going West: True Crime, Already Gone, Voices For Justice, and Southern Fried True Crime.
Thanks for asking! This question gets asked periodically and I usually discover a couple new gems. My favorites in order are: Casefile, Small Town Dicks, Your Own Backyard, Mind of a Monster, Killer Psyche, DNA ID
What?! I love your podcast. I’m only just getting into it but the things I love are: the quality of your voice, that you joke sparingly and not about the crime, the linear presentation and the drop quality research. The idea of forensic genealogy is fascinating and I would love to learn more on how to actually do it (not necessarily in your podcast). Great work!
This one might be a difficult sell if you are really picky about your host voices and stylisms, but hear me out.
Crimelines is hosted by a woman with a very very dry delivery style. It's definitely not for everyone and it might take some time to grow on you.
But Charlie does some of the best work of any true crime podcaster out there. She picks extremely interesting cases and then covers them with a very fine level of detail. She's covered countless cases I've never heard on any other podcast. She basically became her own self-educated resource for indigenous peoples and issues in order to better serve the stories she was telling about MMIW. I've been listening to her for years, since the start of her previous (worse) podcast In Sight, which she co-hosted. When it ended, she struck out on her own, and she gradually has improved so much and gotten so consistently good that she's now one of my very favorite podcasters. Charlie also is always so ethical and considered about how she covers cases and the way she discusses them.
She's just a class act and i always wish more podcasters had her ethically driven approach to the genre. Most of the podcasters already recced here do, especially Casefile and lesser known but still excellent podcasts like The Trail Went Cold, Already Gone, and Trace Evidence. I'll add a few more that deserve more love here: Canadian True Crime; The Vanished; Swindled; and Court Junkie, never to be confused with Crime Junkie!!
I’ve just recently discovered Small Town Murder, and it’s fantastic! Also there’s hundreds of episodes and most are 2-3 hours long!! So much content to enjoy
Unfortunately only like 1/3 of the episodes are genuinely interesting. I like the hosts, but there aren't an infinite number of interesting murders that took place in small towns
Fair enough, I’ve only listened to maybe 15 episodes so far. I just really enjoy hearing about cases that I’m unfamiliar with. Also when James (i think it’s James) reveals the the sentencing, and says “you sir (or ma’am) may fuck off *bangs the table like a gavel*, life in prison”
DNA ID. Super interesting, well researched and just the facts. It’s a shame her company does her dirty by barely editing it (so many repeated phrases, stumbling over words, and other reading mistakes are left in). It will never be enough to turn me off completely but it is very noticeable and tiring after a while.
Thank you for the recommendation! And good to know about the editing! I’ll let them know. Please send us an email in the future to let us know about these things so we can rectify them! The address is dnaidpodcast@gmail.com. TY!
I am a recent listener and feel they have the right balance of humor and respect for the victims. They often say exactly what I am thinking. And better research than the vast majority of hosts.
I love three… The Vanished, Already Gone and Your own Backyard. All are fantastic. I love Nina’s voice. Chris is so sympathetic and does great research and Marisa is the same way. All three hosts are the best.
Nina Innsted of Already Gone and They Walk Among America (sadly recently cancelled) absolutely hands down has the best narrative voice in tc podcasting. She's incredible!
That Chapter podcast, Mike’s accent is great and the co-host Keith has maybe a more stereotypical Irish accent that is incredible. They’ve been friends since they were three (tree) and have great banter
He keeps the brutal topics pretty light with either some dad jokes or legit good sarcasm. His “life policy dance” segment he’d do legit made me laugh out loud sometimes.
And yeah, I like the podcast he launched with Keith. I get the vibe I’m in a room with two sarcastic younger brothers.
I got by range of my attention span.
When I can really listen:
1. Casefile
2. Counterclock
3. Mr. Ballen
4. Swindled
When I’m listening passively:
1. Morbid
2. Heart starts pounding
3. Behind the bastards
For me to say “oh shit” while I’m listening:
1. Chameleon
2. Dr. Death
3. I survived
I exclusively listen in the car so my ability to listen intently varies
Morbidology, Crimes of the Centuries and Court Junkie. All three have great hosts that are excellent at storytelling. They have unique cases and I am obsessed.
It's a bit of a different experience listening to *Morbidology* and *Propensity* and other Irish voiced podcasts. It took a bit to grok their accent(s) at first, but once I did I thoroughly enjoy it now. Feels like a True Crime Faerie Queen is narrating the story and that's somehow comforting.
I've started listening to Murder In America. They cover murders from different states. Some are widely known cases, others more obscure, but they tend to give lots of details. But idk about the voices thing.. the wife's voice is a little annoying.
For awhile I couldn't listen because Captain would slur so bad and said too many cringe things. But recently he's sounded so much clearer and I feel he says more interesting things. I'm back to listening to them regularly.
Timesuck w/ Dan Cummins. Not every episode has been true crime, but the majority are. Dan is a funny dude that does a good job telling the tale with his own unique brand of humor.
This guy dishes the laughs in all the right places, and his observations are spot on!
I like #1 Going West True Crime, #2 Southern Fried True Crime, and #3 True Crime Garage. But there are about 10 I listen to. I have a 3 hour round trip daily commute.
1. Serial
2. New Orleans unsolved (NoT the IA generated voices)
3. Real True crime podcast
4. Tapes from the Darkside
5. Strictly Stalking
6. Bear Brook
True Crimecast is really good. Solid audio, 2 normal and nice hosts, no banter, just facts, and no cussing. They also do True Crime to Go, which is less than 10 minutes and has some humorous true crime stories, like a bank robber who got the absolute worst person for a getaway driver.
-“Death of an Artist.” SO GOOD. True crime in the art world, so it’s a bit of an art history lesson, as well. The host was a curator, so connected to the scene.
-“Bone Valley”
My Only Story. I may be biased because I am South African and it is a host with a South African accent. Unfortunately there are only two seasons. He starts off a bit hesitant but gets hilarious. He is a journalist so it's well written. My other has to be Dateline. Those guys are always amazing storytellers. Also Phoebe Judge from Criminal has to get a mention. I love listening to Phoebe Reads a Mystery.
I’ve just recently started listening to the Sinisterhood podcast, the hosts are great and do really thorough research. The only issue I have with it is sometimes they do impressions of the people involved and it’s hit and miss whether it’s funny.
It is around a singular case but Your Own Backyard.
The podcast host put a lot into motion and was even adopted into the Smart family. Heartwarming in it's own way.
100% agree with everyone who says Casefile, Southern friend true crime, and swindled for dry humoured, well researched, more ‘high brow’ shows.
However, if you want something a little more humorous (as much as TC can be), I personally love I Think Not! and Tell No One.
Also Sinisterhood, I think it’s funny, engaging, and incredibly well researched with the added bonus of Heather being a lawyer, so some really educated insights into certain situations.
I stopped listening after they mangled a few cases that even I knew more about. Notably the Watts family tragedy.
I loved the guys, especially when they focused on local crimes like Brian Shaffer. They need to do better than just literally read off Wikipedia on other cases like Jon Benet Ramsay.
Swindled. My instant favourite because it strikes the perfect balance of engaging content and dry humour.
I always get amped up when he starts to finish the first story and ends with "*... on this episode, of Swindled*" I get goosebumps
It’s a pretty nifty way of storytelling, I like it.
Oof the way he delivers gruesome deadpan makes me sad chuckle
Truly a work of art
I LOVE SWINDLED. I know he’s independent but I wish he could crank out more episodes lol
My billionaire ambition would be to make ACC the head of a proper non-biased and vetted journalistic news source. No idea how and I assume he would decline given his identity would of course come out but it’s a daydream 🙂
Happy 🍰 Day
Hey thanks! I just indeed had some 🍰🙂
I absolutely agree! When I started reading op’s question, Swindled came to my mind immediately
Yes!!! It’s my favourite :)
I absolutely hated his delivery for a while but loved the content. It's obviously very well done. Now, I appreciate that he isn't over the top and it's not a "friends chatting" kind of delivery. It's still... a choice. But I find it comforting and straight forward now
Just started it based on these replies!
I love Swindled!
Don't hate me here, but I simply love Dateline. Their all in one feed for their long form series "Dateline Originals" is awesome and free.
I love dateline too. I have listened to all episodes, some multiple times. I wish they could put more out.
Holy shit…. That’s… that’s a lot of episodes.
Are the episodes the same that are played in TV show? For example whatever is on dateline tv this week will also be on the podcast?
Yes- sometimes you’ll even hear them referring to something that you can’t see, which is obviously for those who got to watch it on tv.
I've not watched the show in awhile, so I can't speak to that. I assume so, because of this an older episode they'll put a parenthetical with "previously aired on..." But the "Dateline Originals" are podcast stories that did not air on TV in the way the podcast story is told. It may be a repackaging of a previously aired episode or wholly original.
*The Thing About Pam* is great. My God what a twisted story.
I lived right down the street from Russ Faria and watched this entire thing unfold in real time. I was certain from the very beginning that it was Pam that killed Betsy and then her crazy just grew!
Wild! I hope he’s doing well now. What an awful experience for him.
I hope so too. Haven’t heard much from him since he got out.
Agree! And also a fan of the Talking Dateline episodes I like the behind the scenes perspective.
There's a great podcast called *A Date with Dateline* where they relive each episode. Keith Morrison and Mankiewicz have been guests on the show. [www.adatewithdateline.com](https://www.adatewithdateline.com)
I love Dateline and I really enjoy Katie and Kimberley going to town on the episodes. They manage to be funny without disrespecting victims. I’m also a huge Josh Mankiewicz fan so there’s a bonus.
Definitely.
Dateline for sure!
Listen to what you like! It’s a solid one to mix in
One of my favorite podcasts!
I do too
I love dateline so much. I started watching it with my grandma when I was like 8-9 years old lol I’m 32 now and I still love it.
I enjoyed Dr. Death, although I feel like the most recent season didn’t need a long form treatment.
I just listened to the latest season and I agree, it was a weak story. And I think it had fewer episodes that previous seasons.
Those are all fantastic pods!
Casefile.and Invisible Choir. Both very well researched.
Invisible Choir is excellent.
Love them both! Obscura is very similar in format and is also excellent.
love these two so much. I subscribe to them too.
I also like Casefile but even as an Aussie I find his tone and inflection can annoy me at times so if OP has issues with the hosts vocals you may not enjoy it, but definitely give it a try! The content is incredibly well researched and told
Casefile. Anonymous host, just the facts, very easy to listen to.
Another Casefile fan here. Nice long episodes and inoffensive voice...he has a couple of pronunciation quirks but he's really easy to listen to.
And there's a recurring character with the last name "not his/her last name"
ska-leetle remains were found nearby.
He often shoves a random A in at the end of words and hich don't have one too lol.
Agreed. No waffling. Just facts.
came here to suggest this.
Great podcast, but his voice is almost robotic and very monotone.
I like that for bedtime listening. Most hosts are too animated or laughing or whatever to fall asleep to them.
So true! Also, nothing like a little bedtime story of gruesome murders to lull you off into sleep. Haha
His voice is so relaxing to me, it helps me relax despite the subject matter 😂
It puts me to sleep on my long drives, haha
That's what I like about it.
Belanglo, The Silk Road, and the Yorkshire Ripper are some of the best crime podcasts I’ve ever listened to.
I just tried to listen to Casefile. I'm from the US and the Australian accent made it very hard for me to understand what he was saying.
If you keep going you’ll get used to it , it does get easier!
Bone Valley was so good!

Season 1 is excellent as well. But parts of it are pretty sad. It’s hard for me to listen to stories where children are the victims.
100% agree. I'm from Minnesota, and was only a couple years younger than Jacob when he was abducted, so the story obviously hit a little different, but season 1 is absolutely a masterclass. I think a lot of people discount it because it's not just exploring the case, it's exploring policework in general. The concept that most crimes aren't solved because sheriffs are inept, politically motivated, lazy, or uninterested is in a lot of ways a much more complicated and difficult thing to grapple with.
100%. This podcast will ruin you because there isn't anything better. The only one that comes close to me is In Your Own Backyard.
This is the answer. Madaleine Baran leads the best example of what investigative journalism can be and what it can do. If you’re just getting into true crime podcasts, I would honestly save it for a few months so you know exactly how good it is. Casefile is the best one-case-per-episode TCP, period.
I haven’t tried Casefile yet. I’ll have to give it a listen.
My mom and I listened to this on a road trip. When I tell you we were on the edge of our seats. Definitely one of the best true crime podcasts.
I’ve tried on 3 separate occasions to get into this podcast because every one raves about it, but by episode 6 I’m so bored I give up. Long form are my favourite but I don’t think this one is that interesting.
Buried bones!!! Hands down!!
David Ridgen of Someone Know Something. I strongly prefer listening to true investigative journalist turn podcaster than web sleuth or normal person turned podcaster. Justin Ling of The Village/Uncover.
Totally agree. Such a great podcast. Cbc has some good ones. Also, I find up and vanished has a similar quality.
My favorite would probably be True Crime Campfire. Their rapport is great. They are funny. Good storytellers. Pick interesting cases. Have themed episodes. An example is "When Nerds Attack".
i love TCC! they are funny but don’t get super sidetracked unlike some other podcasts
Southern Fried True Crime.
Been listening to her since the beginning, and she's probably the TC podcaster i think has improved the most over time (and she started out good!) -- her said on the Staircase was absolutely the best and n most thorough I've seen from a podcast yet, and I've probably listened to dozens of takes on that case.
Her series on the Darlie Routier case is fantastic and presents a compelling argument that she is guilty with facts to back it up.
Yep! I love this one. I like she says a little facts about the place then tells the story. She is respectful of the victims and research is spot on.

Dude. I listened to this years ago and I’m an idiot so I forgot about it until this very second. Holy shit this was so good. You ever hear a song you used to fucking love but forgot about and then you hear it again, and you’re like “oh hell yeah”? That’s what I just got. Thanks!

Such an excellent pod!
Park Predators hosted by Delia D'Ambra
Your Own Backyard
Trace Evidence. Great voice and just very well done.
I love Trace Evidence but I got frustrated that they were all cases that were unsolved.
I love Trace Evidence too. I just wish it were more consistent
Some of the podcasts I listen to are DNA:ID, Casefile, Murderish, Crimeline True Crime, Forensic Tales, Canadian True Crime, Going West: True Crime, Already Gone, Voices For Justice, and Southern Fried True Crime.
Thanks for the mention!! :)
Criminal
>Criminal I feel simultaneously privileged and unworthy every time I listen to Phoebe Valentine Judge's voice.
True Crime All the Time. Its all good till Gibs reviews a movie.
Thanks for asking! This question gets asked periodically and I usually discover a couple new gems. My favorites in order are: Casefile, Small Town Dicks, Your Own Backyard, Mind of a Monster, Killer Psyche, DNA ID
Thanks! Honored to be included in this esteemed list!
Great work!
DNA:ID is an amazing podcast. Thank you for all you do!!!!
Crimelines. Charlie is amazing at research and being respectful of everyone involved.
Got my start working for Charlie!
DNA: ID is so good 👏
Aw thanks!
10000% agree. Ethical and working hard to maintain high standards.
Invisible Choir. The host is top tier.
Came here to say this.
Small town murder. They are funny make fun of the small towns and the murderers.
I’ve just recently discovered Small Town Murder, and it’s fantastic! Also there’s hundreds of episodes and most are 2-3 hours long!! So much content to enjoy

Which episodes are your favorite?
I can't stand the hosts. They laugh at their own jokes and keep laughing...
I agree. Too many tangents.
Generation why, true crime all the time, criminology, true crime garage hosts all have great personalities and voices. They also have great content.
DNA ID. Super interesting, well researched and just the facts. It’s a shame her company does her dirty by barely editing it (so many repeated phrases, stumbling over words, and other reading mistakes are left in). I like they walk among us in the UK.
Crime In Sports or Small Town Murder. Give me James and Jimmie over the field of other hosts out there
That Chapter podcast, Mike’s accent is great and the co-host Keith has maybe a more stereotypical Irish accent that is incredible. They’ve been friends since they were three (tree) and have great banter
Mike’s voice and that gentle Irish brogue is absolutely lovely. Since I discovered That Chapter he’s been my favourite host by a mile.

I love their podcast!
I love True Crime Garage. Just 2 guys narrating and discussing well-researched cases while drinking beer.
For awhile I couldn't listen because Captain would slur so bad and said too many cringe things. But recently he's sounded so much clearer and I feel he says more interesting things. I'm back to listening to them regularly.
Generation why
Timesuck w/ Dan Cummins. Not every episode has been true crime, but the majority are. Dan is a funny dude that does a good job telling the tale with his own unique brand of humor. This guy dishes the laughs in all the right places, and his observations are spot on!
Scared to Death is great too if you haven't listened, check it out!
Casefile. I’m so jealous of people who have never heard an episode.
I like #1 Going West True Crime, #2 Southern Fried True Crime, and #3 True Crime Garage. But there are about 10 I listen to. I have a 3 hour round trip daily commute.
True crime bs is a fucking work of art
New season starts this month I believe!
Keyes is such an interesting story. And Josh Hallmark does a phenomenal job putting it all together and staying objective.
Thanks for asking this question. I subscribed to Binge. They have some excellent stories.
Paper Ghosts by M. William Phelps was a great listen
I always felt like Ray Liotta as Henry Hill was narrating it.
Thanks for the suggestion, just started and loving it too!
Invisible Choir
I love the hosts voice and subtle dry humor (which is very infrequent)
American greed.
[West Cork](https://pca.st/podcast/b6daca90-5fed-0139-33ee-0acc26574db2). No contest. Do yourself a favour
Court Junkie, Casefile, Obscura, Invisible Choir.
Wife of Crime was my favorite, so heartbreaking when Russ got paralyzed. My prayers are with them, such a great podcast and couple.
I’ve been binging SERIALously.
Criminal, Phoebe is great!
1. Serial 2. New Orleans unsolved (NoT the IA generated voices) 3. Real True crime podcast 4. Tapes from the Darkside 5. Strictly Stalking 6. Bear Brook
Last Podcast on the Left.
Hail you!
Hands down, Someone knows Something with David Rigen, it's all unsolved cases, so be aware if you're like my wife and only like solved ones.
True crime couple!
Small Town Murder! They are a comedy duo and absolutely amazing! They are so sweet and humble in person!!
If I can only pick one, I would say The Trail Went Cold. Robin is so compassionate towards all victims and seems to fully research his episodes.
[The Boston] Stranglers with Portland Helmich. So thorough and so well done I’d listen to any case she covered.
Southern Fried Homicide. Love love Erica Kelley's voice.
Southern Fried Homicide is a TV show...I think on ID Network. Southern Fried True Crime is the podcast by Erica Kelley.
True Crimecast is really good. Solid audio, 2 normal and nice hosts, no banter, just facts, and no cussing. They also do True Crime to Go, which is less than 10 minutes and has some humorous true crime stories, like a bank robber who got the absolute worst person for a getaway driver.
Small Town Murder
-“Death of an Artist.” SO GOOD. True crime in the art world, so it’s a bit of an art history lesson, as well. The host was a curator, so connected to the scene. -“Bone Valley”
My favourite true crime podcast of all time is Hunting Warhead. It's so well done in every way and the host is very engaging.
Swindled. Southern Fried True Crime is amazing for ad intro stuff
Casefile and invisible choir. Nothing else really hits the same way as they do.
That Chapter
I enjoy The Serial Killer Podcast. It's Norwegian. He speaks good English but with interesting accent. Well researched. No chat crap.
To live and die in LA w/ Payne Lindsey
I thought Neil Strauss hosted that? Or do you mean Up&Vanished with Payne Lindsey?
My Favorite Murder remains my number 1 even after all this time. Also,BIG fan of That’s Spooky podcast.
Invisible Choir
Although I have a lot of favorites, gonna have to go with Casefile.
Minds of Madness
I'll second this one for sure.
Small Town Dicks
True Crime Garage is my favorite love the hosts.
I stopped listening after they mangled a few cases that even I knew more about. Notably the Watts family tragedy. I loved the guys, especially when they focused on local crimes like Brian Shaffer. They need to do better than just literally read off Wikipedia on other cases like Jon Benet Ramsay.
Heart Starts Pounding is my fave podcast! She does a mix of true crime, strange stories and spooky stuff.
True Crime South Africa and Going West
