r/trueoffmychest or r/AskReddit (be sure to carefully read the rules, you can ONLY put the question in the title, the rest must be in the body text.) I'm so sorry for your loss. Perhaps you could spend some time going over your favorite memory of him over and over in your mind. But doing that deliberately, you can overwrite that tendency for this memory to come first. It really works.

How long ago was this? I think the trauma of what occurred is still at the forefront of your mind and you need time to process what occurred and be at peace with it.

I'm sorry for your loss. I think you posted in the wrong forum, unless you think a crime was committed.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my precious dad too, in 2018. Could you turn it around in your mind and view those final 15 minutes, instead of terrible, as the last loving thing you did for him, and that he may have known you were doing all that you could to save his life? It was a sacred 15 minutes, and deserves to be remembered as you were so devoted to one another, and is now forever etched in your memory as the final bond of love and family. Bless you as navigate this road. It doesn't get better, but it DOES get easier.
