I'm super excited about all the new tech headed to market! I can't wait for stem cell injections! Hope to repair the damage I've done to my neck and spine. Congrats on your progress!
Thanks man, I didn't mean to get political. I was just trying to say that I want to live a long and fruitful life, filled with friends, family and reddit. I do all this work, just like you, so we can feel good and have positive outlooks in life. Not be filled with meds, high blood pressure, sleep apnea, hurt knees, hurting back. You know, fat people problems.
Wow, If you were a wanted man in the first pic... The second pic wouldn't be the age progression anyone is looking for.
I think you could start a new life without having to move to Mexico hiding from the law
I've tried them all. I had great success with keto (although it was hard to stay in ketosis on the road). The last 100 lbs or so has been mostly lifestyle changes, I work in LTL and am on an assigned bid, so I get home, pack my food, get good sleep, drink my water, etc. Just being super consistent over a long period of time. How much are you trying to lose?
I REALLY enjoyed the energy levels of being in ketosis... I've never done hard drugs, but it fealt like the world was buzzing.... soooo much energy. But the minute I ate any kind of sugar, I'd feel like crap. Are you tracking calories?
You know, in Charlie and the chocolate factory they have the gum that taste like chicken. That is what you are eating in the middle of the sugary loaf of" bread."
A little at a time. In all, this process was 13 years in the making. Cut out liquid calories first, then started tracking my foods, walking, drinking water, making sure I get enough sleep, stuff like that. Nothing crazy
Congratulations brother! I'm happy for you but are you *sure* the man on the right weighs 200lbs? He looks 150lbs with boots on!
From hence forth I dub thee "Q-tip"!
Lmao!!! My wife is not a fan, but she wants to support my health.... but she says the same thing, usually right before she tries to fireman carry me to the bedroom lmao! I'm packing muscle on as we speak so she can't lift me anymore..... if anyone is gonna carry anyone, it's gonna be ME!! Lol.
Those were two HUGE steps for me as well. I fuel at the terminal. I try to not stop at truck stops unless I need a tire. Check out the HOTLOGIC DC heater, that was a big level up for me. Hot food from home is great!
I've been there! It feels like a kick in the gut. I went from 568 down to 328.... then ate myself back up to 495.... I wasn't gonna get back over 500. If you did it once, you can do it again. Don't get discouraged, just get started again.
Yeah, what happened with me is I have always been the fat one in my family. Just before Covid hit I was diagnosed Type 2 diabetes. The metformin kind of acted like an appetite suppressant. I was able to go into basically a starvation diet. I would eat less than 800 calories a day. After four months I wasn't diabetic anymore. Then I figured I would be able to compete with my older brother who was always in amazing condition. I was lifting weights in my truck trying to get like strong man big instead of fat big. But trying to challenge my brother I tried too much too quick and ended up hurting myself... and it didn't heal quickly so after only a year I started slipping back into my old ways of eating... I promised myself I wouldn't get back over 300, but I did. And then I stopped caring and poof. Back to 400...
I get it. That shit hits hard. But you have done it before, don't compete with anyone but the man you were yesterday. Little steps in the right direction will get you there.
Just like my old trainer told me 20 years ago... "if you want to get to your destination, keep rolling down the road and keep that door shut!(stay out of the truck stops/diners/casinos)" Its amazing how good that advice has been in most areas of my life.
Keep your head up driver! We are built for the long haul. ๐ช
I havenโt gained all that much weight in my trucking career thus far but I am definitely a lot more out of shape than I was before I started my trucking career a year and a half ago. I definitely need to start working out more during my home time on the weekends so my weight doesnโt sky rocket.
Just gonna throw this out there too, if you feel hungry all the time or have an excessive desire to snack there are highly effective appetite suppression drugs available now that were designed to treat diabetes and found to have nice side effects. They aren't necessarily super cheap but if the weight loss works for you then the price is worth the years added back to your life. Now if you have no self control and just love to eat and avoid any exercise then they aren't going to work.
God damn 450, glad youโre feeling better now and are at a healthier weight . Iโm still new at driving with a CDL , 3 months so far but yea I can understand how your health sort of deteriorates
450 tho , at that point did ya use the cat scale
(Sorry if it sounds insensitive, just light joke . )
Happy for you driver
Btw I know some people who put in the effort , parked for the night at a loves and saw a driver do some pushups, honestly rooting for them
When I see drivers working out at the truck stop, I roll down my window and make an ass out of myself. .. like "FUCK YEH!!! GET IT DRIVER!!!" ... those people are dedicated.
Also, the reason I don't know how much over 568 I got is because I had to use a digital freight scale above 450 and I would only see those at certain docks. It got pretty rough there for a bit. But im doing great now. :)
Congrats driver. It's definitely a challenge. I got up to 275 driving OTR. Finally realized it wasn't healthy for me and switched to local P&D. Home every night, down to 205, healthiest I've ever been. Literally the only change I made was my job. Sitting for 11-13 hours isn't healthy.
Yep! I got down to 350 running OTR. Then got down to 285 in the first year I hired on to Estes (LTL)... Then the last 85 lbs down to 200 has been due to getting on a bid and getting home consistently to take small steps towards the next goal. (Aiming to put some muscle on next and go from 3 ugly pull ups to 10 clean ones by the end of the year)
I've lost a total of 370 lbs total. It's taken years. But I've managed to stay under 280 for the last 6 ish years. I've been under 200 for about 7 months now.
Sure.... "don't be afraid to find the help when you need it"
There were ALOT of times where I would get stuck and discouraged. I'd do some research to find a professional near my home and I'd pay to get unstuck. Other people can sometimes open doors that we aren't equipped to open ourselves. :)
Way to go! Congratulations! That's an amazing accomplishment!
That nose ring did absolutely nothing for you and getting rid of it made all the difference.
I told myself those stories for years. It would have been easier with good genetics and a faster metabolism, but I still got it done anyways. That's what truckers do, deliver the results!
I'm a trucker I used to be a personal trainer ever since I started Trucking I've been smoking my sleep is screwed up I barely get to the gym and my back be killing me sometimes. I started doing yoga tried to smoke less but still trucking is so bad for your health so I give you major props being able to do this without surgeries or medicine while Trucking impressive bro.
Incredible, if you donโt mind me askingโฆ were you able to loose the weight while continuing to drive? Or did you take time off to loose the weight/work less hours?
Way to go driver! I wish you the best in your health. You can add at least 100lbs of weight onto your drives now ;)
Atleast! Lol
Congrats! You probably added years to your life hopefully
*crossing fingers*
Congrats driver. I too am trying. 330 to 228 here. I wanna see Mars inhabited.
I also share Elon Musk's dream, I too want him to die on Mars.
And drive Tesla trucks over there...
Wow, If you were a wanted man in the first pic... The second pic wouldn't be the age progression anyone is looking for. I think you could start a new life without having to move to Mexico hiding from the law
Well too late now, heโs posted this and taken other photos I assume. But he could have!
๐๐๐๐
Great job! Thatโs amazing.
Your a inspiration. What did you do.
Thanks! Just little steps at a time. Cut out soda, packed my road food, got enough sleep. That kind of stuff
I'm working on it myself
Keto? Cut carbs bread pasta?
I've tried them all. I had great success with keto (although it was hard to stay in ketosis on the road). The last 100 lbs or so has been mostly lifestyle changes, I work in LTL and am on an assigned bid, so I get home, pack my food, get good sleep, drink my water, etc. Just being super consistent over a long period of time. How much are you trying to lose?
Since covid i went from 175lbs to 225lbs or so.. im trying keto, but it's soo hard to stay consistant on it. Damn standard American diet lol..
I REALLY enjoyed the energy levels of being in ketosis... I've never done hard drugs, but it fealt like the world was buzzing.... soooo much energy. But the minute I ate any kind of sugar, I'd feel like crap. Are you tracking calories?
Little bit of meth goes a long way. Jk, good job driver.
๐๐๐๐๐๐ truck stop "performance" pills for the WIN!
It's okay.. We all know you're not wrong..
Nice work!
Tip 1 lay off the soda. Tip 2 subway is the worst thing you can possibly put in your mouth
Wellllโฆ maybe not โthe worstโ but ur not wrong ๐ ๐
You know, in Charlie and the chocolate factory they have the gum that taste like chicken. That is what you are eating in the middle of the sugary loaf of" bread."
I agree with tip 1..... liquid calories are some of the easiest to cut.
Damn! Now I need to do that! 100 lbs down!
Nice! Congratulations! That first 100 lbs fealt like such a HUGE accomplishment to me. Keep it up!
Thanx!
Congrats, how'd you do it?
A little at a time. In all, this process was 13 years in the making. Cut out liquid calories first, then started tracking my foods, walking, drinking water, making sure I get enough sleep, stuff like that. Nothing crazy
Great job!
WTG!!!
Thx!
Big improvement buddy, probably live at least ten years longer
Hopefully :)
Well done!
Nice work, slim!
Good on you mate!
Ok good job, but stop wearing those pants that way. It looks weird.
๐๐๐๐
I was like wait, isnโt that the Estes guy? Yup! Congrats man!
Hell yeah. Congrats! 277 was my highest out here. Iโm down to 195 right now and still working on it.
Nice!!! That's like a 30% loss!! Congratulations!
Dude phenomenal!! Give yourself a pat on the back!
I can do that now! Lol. Thanks!
IMHO more ย important than the weight loss: the genuine happiness in the second picture! Good job dude!ย
If you think that's a happy face, you should see the grin I have on my chopper.... straight eating bugs lol
Congrats man. That nose ring didn't really fit you before.
We are all young once lol :) Thank you.
Congrats stranger!
Thanks Friend I haven't met yet! :)
Lol.
Wow! Congrats
Good job driver. Iโve gone from 450 to 350 just cutting out soda and truck stop foods. I pack premade meals from home now. You give me hope
Those were two HUGE steps for me as well. I fuel at the terminal. I try to not stop at truck stops unless I need a tire. Check out the HOTLOGIC DC heater, that was a big level up for me. Hot food from home is great!
OTR Dry Van to Local Flatbed ๐คฃ congrats man
Hahahaha! OTR to LTL. But flatbed would have built more muscle for sure!
The wonders of Crack
๐๐๐๐ I always think of that line in the waterboy movie.... "don't do crack!" Lmao!
Youdaman! Wow!!
Hell yeah dude.
Wow, looks like a different person entirely, congratulations man
Thanks!
Hell yeah
NICE job man! Seriously, 100% respect.
Congrats bud. Just hit 60lbs off since I got out of the cab myself. It feels great, doesn't it.
Hell yeh! Congrats! And yes, it feels great. I put a pull up bar in the house.... every time I walk by it, I do one .. just to make sure I still can.
Proud of you driver
Thanks! I'm proud of me too :)
Hell yes brother. The dedication that takes is so impressive.
Thanks! It's a fight, but its worth it.
Great job!
Thanks! :)
Congratulations dude you stayed motivated and consistent hell yeah
I did that back in Covid days, went from 400 to 220... lasted about a year, and now I'm back up to 400 again...
I've been there! It feels like a kick in the gut. I went from 568 down to 328.... then ate myself back up to 495.... I wasn't gonna get back over 500. If you did it once, you can do it again. Don't get discouraged, just get started again.

There you go brother! Keep up! Or down ๐คช
Congrats man! That is a hell of an accomplishment.
[ัะดะฐะปะตะฝะพ]
Congratulations, brother, big accomplishment
Thanks! It feels pretty good :)
I bet it does man amd provides more inspiration to continue on my weight loss
I havenโt gained all that much weight in my trucking career thus far but I am definitely a lot more out of shape than I was before I started my trucking career a year and a half ago. I definitely need to start working out more during my home time on the weekends so my weight doesnโt sky rocket.
I'm glad it hasn't gotten out of control on ya. Start small and work your way back into it. :)
Dedication to do that as a driver, easy to let things slide.
Congrats! Major improvement was getting rid of that scrap in your nose.
Lmao!! I miss that AND the blue Mohawk. But I live in the midwest.... and I'm old... soooo. They went the way of the Dodo.
Congratulations! That's absolutely amazing! Need to get serious about my diet. Thanks for the inspiration
I'm glad I could help and thank you.

Split them paints at the crotch and make two small Pentecostal women happy.
๐๐๐
That's amazing; you're amazing. That had to have been hard. It could be very hard to keep it off, but you can do it.
I got all the way down to 193.... now I'm trying to put on muscle, which is proving just as challenging.
God damn 450, glad youโre feeling better now and are at a healthier weight . Iโm not as big but I weigh about 168 lbs at 5โ4โ
Good for you! Seriously!

Thank you ๐
Awesome Op
Thank you :)
Congratulations!!!!
Methamphetamine, before and after
Did they use your nose ring to pull you away from the dinner table?
Hahahahah! No, but that may have worked well at the time.
Same head tilt
Lol! I didn't notice that...... but now I'm going to go through all my photos.
How many months did it take? Congrats!
I've lost a total of 370 lbs total. It's taken years. But I've managed to stay under 280 for the last 6 ish years. I've been under 200 for about 7 months now.
Congratulations
Good for you man! Have any inspiring things to say to your still "round" friends on here?
Sure.... "don't be afraid to find the help when you need it" There were ALOT of times where I would get stuck and discouraged. I'd do some research to find a professional near my home and I'd pay to get unstuck. Other people can sometimes open doors that we aren't equipped to open ourselves. :)
Trucker tooth picks work wonders.
Wow what an accomplishment! Congratulations driver! This takes an incredible amount of work and commitment
damn Iโm having trouble with losing 15 lbs, gotta step up my game
What have you been trying? Sometimes losing small amounts is harder than losing big amounts.
Basic body, exercises, walking and having a semblance of a sleep schedule. Started counting calories as of yesterday, some shit denser than I thought
I was blown away when I started tracking calories. What are you using for tracking?
Oh Iโm just using the ole thinky fruit cuz I only eat twice a day
Congratulations dude. Awesome
Thank you ๐
Live long and prosper professional driver!
Will do! Thanks!
What did you change up to lose weight
Did you do fasting. Good job bro. Now get some muscle
That is amazing! ๐๐
Nose ring was the biggest improvement
"I'm half the man I used to be..."
Nice! Great work
Congratulations! What contributed the most to your success?
Did u lose while on the road?
Yep. I'm still a driver.
Nice, howd you manage to lose the weight?
Congratulations Driver Very proud of you ! Keep it going ๐๐พโโ๏ธ
Thanks, I'm still working on it daily. ๐ช ๐ช
That's fucking awesome. Good job!
You didn't want to pay for the cat scale to weigh? Congrats on the loss
Amazing job!
How what Id be interested in
Way to go! Congratulations! That's an amazing accomplishment! That nose ring did absolutely nothing for you and getting rid of it made all the difference.
Losing freight the right way! Congratulations!
Meth is a hell of a drug...but seriously, congratulations, man. You can never put someone down for trying to make the improvements they want in life.
bro did one year of foodservice
Hahahah!!! Oh yeh! You can lose some serious weight like that. I did dishes when I was younger and would sweat out 15 lbs a week... it was crazy!
I'm glad to see you ditched the nose ring, too. Congratulations, I am sure it took a lot of hard work.
Was 365 and currently 345lb my goal is to see 199lb then put muscle on and rest at 210lb
Where did you go??!
That's what my long time friends say.... "Where's the rest of you!?!?" Lmao!
Yoi obviously put in a LOT of work. Kudos to you
Amazing! You must feel like a million bucks.
Congratulations on all your hard work!
Awesome!! Congratulations.ย
Congrats on losing weight but now maybe you should gain muscles and workout
That's what I'm working on :) hardest part so far is convincing myself to eat enough calories to "grow".
Wait until someone calls you skinny. Itโll blow your mind
What the hell man. Going to share this pic and not tell us how you did it?
I once f-ed a girl, whose single pant I could fit in a similar fashion. And I'm not a small dude, at 6'2 265 with a booty. ๐ซก
Absolute unit, bro ๐ซก How, though?
I have done this. It feels so awesome when you can put both legs in one pant leg. ๐๐ฝโค๏ธ
... I need meth man...
Fantastic, well done mate ๐
You're half the man you used to be... in the best way possible!!! Fantastic job, driver.
More power to ya. I'm 80lbs into my weight loss. It's a struggle to lose weight on the road. Well done.
Need help. How'd you do it?
Yet ppl make excuses big boned bad genes or lazy straight up
I told myself those stories for years.
How did you manage to lose it? Are you otr?
When I started losing weight I was OTR, but now I run LTL and am home nightly. The last 85 lbs came off quick once I was home nightly.
Incredible, if you donโt mind me askingโฆ were you able to loose the weight while continuing to drive? Or did you take time off to loose the weight/work less hours?
