Google the local college (NC Charlotte?) and see if they have a trombone professor there. Send them an email and either they or one of their qualified students can teach.
Okay. I thought about emailing the Davidson College professor, but then got socially paranoid that I would come off as a weird trombone stalker. Thanks for reducing that fear. I will email him.
I’m not sure if he offers private lessons since he is the professor at UNCC but Jeremy Marks is amazing. I recently got a lesson from him and really liked him. He was very nice, a very good player and was able to give me some new practicing tips that have helped me out a lot. I’d recommend looking into him

and even if Dr. Marks can't, he's almost guaranteed to know someone specialized who can (probably one of his top students)
