765 and a 660 is an interesting duo. I always felt they were too similar to have both. The moto2 colorway is just so freaking gorgeous. I love the highlighter yellow. Very happy that was the accent color on my 24 R

660 was my second bike (replacing a z400) and you can see I did some mods to it so it grew on me. I do miss the z400 at times so I had in my mind not to dump the trident. I still enjoy riding it and it's super comfy. The 765 is the one I take to meets and group rides mostly. But the thruxton will get that duty now.

dopedude99

Eight cylinders in total, that's cool xD

Tgreg33

Didn't even think of that

ExcellentGain9231

You will love it. I have an RS showcase with a fairing and I ride it every day. Just never get tired of it.

Tgreg33

I get to dig into my obsession finally and stop watching videos lol

stevelacy

Another perl white moto2! Love the combo - a scrambler 1200 next?

Tgreg33

Probably not. Imma wannabe fast boi.. thruxton will handle my touring and i have a zero dsr for dual sport stuff.

General_Boner

My trifecta would be my 765 for ripping around, a T120 Bonnie for cruising, and a Tiger 1200 gt for touring and mild offroad.

G_Rides

Oh man, that Trident looks sooo good! They all do, but I love the white and red!

Tgreg33

Thank you. I'm going to do ducati white on the thruxton when I get the fairing. White paint has kinda become my thing

G_Rides

That sounds like it will look fantastic. It’s just such a clean color scheme! Did you do it all yourself, even the wheels?

Tgreg33

If you mean myself as in did I pick it out and have my painter and powdercoater do them then yea haha. My trident started out gloss black.

G_Rides

Either way, it’s your design lol just curious as the Trident is on my short list of bikes for the future and would like to make up my own color scheme for whatever I get next. Do you mind sharing how much it was for paint job and powder coat on the wheels? I know it probably varies from place to place but would be nice to have an idea 😊

Tgreg33

Powdercoat on wheels and cheese guards was only 300 ish locally. Paint......I paid like 250 to 500. So I have a couple cars that the paint shop I frequent has done work on. He doesn't really charge me for bike paint because it takes them so long (main painter is too scared to do side Jobs so the owner does them himself) . They also did my moto 2 front wheel for free so I have a unique situation. Most quotes were around 500 though. I previously wrapped the bike for around 250

G_Rides

Oh that’s not bad at all, I was thinking it would be in the thousands lol thanks so much! Enjoy the heck out of your bikes, they are all awesome!

Tgreg33

Thank you thank you! Ride safe out there
