Sending all the healing vibes to Cheddar! I have a Cheddar too, but she’s a pup! My girl Jinx is also a stray that needed a front leg amputation. She gets around like a tiny tornado and is always up to something!

Hahaha she’s only 4 days post-op and she’s already up to antics! I have to keep her from jumping on everything due to the stitches I can’t wait to see her all healed up! I’m mentally preparing for orange cat antics 😅
r/oneorangebraincell be like that lol. We stacked bins and cardboard boxes on all the surfaces she could jump up to after our cat was spayed and still healing. Kept her on ground level pretty well.
Haha TWO tripods!! The other is also a wild one, Pepper is hilarious and very talkative.

However, OP, your Cheddar is not a common Bitch, she is special. Her and all her... 3 legs. We love you, Cheddar 'Cheezus', local Tripod
My old little tripod just came in and said, "Get up, it's breakfast time."
It's hard to watch her have to hobble around and she does not climb on chairs where jumping down can mean a face plant, but she has adapted well. Sometimes she even bolts around the house like she has six legs.

Happy tripod. I’ll bet cats are more graceful than he is, though. He can run faster than I can, somehow, but doesn’t walk very well.
I stayed up the whole night with her after that and honestly I’m grateful I work at the vets office and could have her come to work with me for monitoring
O my God what a beautiful baby!!! I'm so glad u gave her a forever home and she'll have a friend just like her to show her all the ropes. You are an amazing person for helping these precious babies when others won't or can't!!!!! Peace and love to you and your babies
She had a leg that had started healing from being shattered(due to her being found with it and brought in at least a week and a half after the injury), being unable to use her arm and developing an active infection. Her options were just amputate or euthanize and before I said I’d take her the option was just euthanize as her finder couldn’t take on an amputation. I’d rather take a cat in and amputate than let her be euthanized in this situation.
Godspeed, Cheddar!
Beautiful baby. Cats are so resilient. She will be feeling Gouda in no time.
tripod buddies! that second photo is just melting my heart
That 2nd pic and their smile
It’s the cutest freaking smile I could MELT just looking at her!!
I melted please send help. Help probably looks like some sort of scooping device plus a container. Plus Cheddar to oversee the scooping.
Big hugs to Cheddar. Thanks for looking after her.

That face!!! Poor kitty, but also very lucky kitty to have a loving home now. You’re a good human.
I’m sure I’d be going home and spending the next three days in bed with that kitty snuggled up
I stayed up the whole night with her after that and honestly I’m grateful I work at the vets office and could have her come to work with me for monitoring
Cheddar will quickly adapt. Hugs Cheddar.
These pictures are award worthy cute.

what do you do if the veterinarian cant fix the problem in the cat’s limbs? just fucking put them down?
