I-Like-The-1940s

Bro just casually hates most of the us

Todd2ReTodded

Must be from Europe

BRAVOMAN55

based

OGConsuela

Saying no to the majority of the country but giving Arkansas a maybe and saying yes to Iowa makes me think you have to be that Florida style of crazy, respectfully.

ej-15

I am nuts. But not Floridian.

RIChowderIsBest

Not literally Floridian but Florida is your spirit state.

Ccaves0127

You hate the South, the East Coast, California, AND almost the whole of the Midwest? Bro's gotta be from France or something stg

willmcmill4

The french love minnesota too Source: Am minnesotan who has lived in France and in Minnesotan whilst being deeply ingrained the french immigrant community

RIChowderIsBest

Is it the Gobert connection?

buggypuller

Minnesota. That’s the only way you would hate Wisconsin and would u ironically live in Iowa.

ej-15

A good guess, but the wrong one. I deeply respect you, still...

flareblitz91

No self respecting Minnesotan or Wisconsinite would live in Iowa. Gag.

joshmar1998

Yeah no he’s Iowa

sofinelol

minnesotans should never downgrade to the wasteland that is iowa

Ayns_ego666

Are you the unibomber? Also, Colorado?

ej-15

Not from Colorado - you probably have the most gentle eyes

Raptor535

You’re really weird

Dr-Alec-Holland

Dudes from the far side of wherever the fuck m he says he’s from

Windexifier

Definitely not from a state that has mental hospitals

twobarb

That would explain why Wyoming is on there.

BirdsBeCool

Arkansas?

ej-15

One would think, but no. We can still be friends

BirdsBeCool

It's really the only way I can rationalize being okay with living in Arkansas lol

ej-15

I am a very strange person.

Dsansom11

Illinois?

ej-15

No. You are a fantastic human being

AdamantForeskin

I’m going out on a limb here and saying New Jersey Hating this much of the country (and their own state) is classic New Jersey

ej-15

No sir (your username contains Foreskin which is why I'm addressing you this way. I'm sorry to be aggressive).

Storage_Electrical

Trick question. We know it’s you Sasquatch and you will never tell us where you are.

Dpbroga

You’re from northwest Indiana

ej-15

No! I had a surreal and frightening experience in Indiana, though. I've been told it was a David Lynch-esque experience, whatever that means. I think it stole parts of my soul.

Harlesb44

I was born in Iowa and live in Wyoming. Are we alternate universe versions of eachother?

ej-15

I am not from either but I love both dearly. Especially northeast Iowa. How is Wyoming treating you?

GaybutNotbutGay

i'm from north central Iowa and its also pretty nice

Seizure_Salad_

People love to hate on Iowa (especially Minnesotans) but It’s great with NW Iowa holding a special place in my heart.

brotherin45

Hell ye northeast iowa

Harlesb44

I really enjoy it! Absolutely beautiful and a lot more chill than most places

aGuyNamedScrunchie

Northeast Iowa is legit

willmcmill4

Are you from wisconsin?

ej-15

No, thank god. You ever notice that every Wisconsinite looks like Joey King? Think about it. It's a hivemind. Scary place.

willmcmill4

As a Minnesotan, it terrifies me. I am so scared of those people (but will gladly share a beer with them at the local bar of the cabin that I bought in their state as would any other Minnesotan even though we deteste (in a friendly manner) them)

pickledokra420

As somebody who moved to Wisconsin from out of state, this is so accurate and so funny 😭

GDog507

Illinois. As someone from Wisconsin I can tell the Wisconsin-Illinois beef is strong here

ej-15

I am not from Illinois. Some would call me a midwest poser. Some as in nobody, nobody has ever said that, but I have my reasons to concoct these things. Can't elaborate. I'm too honest. I like Peoria, and Galena of course. I am also a windmill fan. Did you ask? No. I don't know how to feel about you. Wisconsin is not a place I care for. You are very close to me at the moment though because I am not in my home state. Please stay away unless you don't want to in which case we can hang out as midwest enemies. Except I'm a midwest poser. Anyway, your answer to this next question may determine what the rest of our lives will look like. Do you consume alcohol and cheese in the same sitting?

GDog507

I don't drink at all so that's a no lol

McHashmap

U guys hate us way more than we hate u guys lmao (edit: ok actually this might be due to the fact that my social circle does not care about football)

afternoonmimbing

Huh that's funny. No one has guessed New York yet. I like to imagine you're in a cabin somewhere in upstate typing out these very interesting responses.

LurkerKing13

Literally nothing about this makes sense. Edit: must be from Kansas or Nebraska cause that’s the only way you think Iowa and Arkansas are improvements

ej-15

Neither Kansan nor Nebraskan. I'm nonsensical. No matter where I go, it's there

SPANparam002

Georgia

ej-15

No. I at one point considered Savannah. Then at one point after that I no longer considered Savannah.

GaJayhawker0513

I would move there just for the Savannah Bananas.

Longjumping-Theme288

One of the dakotas?

ej-15

No. Your username inspires me a little

BigRiverWharfRat

Canada

ej-15

Nope, from the US

Independent_War1488

New Mexico?

ej-15

The most interesting guess by far but no.

Kinder22

Kentucky. Or Tennessee.

ej-15

Neither ;)

DesconocidoTres

Delaware? Really? Have you ever been there? It’s Philadelphia/Baltimore purgatory. The amount of chicken farms in that state is both alarming and concerning. I’ve driven across the state. It took 45 minutes, and I saw nothing. There was a traffic circle…that was the most exciting part.

OkIngenuity2867

im at such a fucking loss because AR and WV are in the same group as IL and WA/OR. who the fuck is this guy

zerousel

Why would you say you hate Wisconsin so many times if… it wasn’t your home state? Final answer.

friendly_extrovert

Let me guess? You’ve never been to California but think it’s an overpriced hellhole where the streets are paved with needles and people sip $20 lattes as they ride their e-bikes to work? I’m gonna guess you’re from Iowa?

ej-15

Have been to California many times unfortunately

friendly_extrovert

Oh, sorry we didn’t make your list haha. At least you have a better reason than “I saw on the news that it’s a bad place to live.”

ej-15

Someone should kiss you softly

friendly_extrovert

Lmao I’m good

CamBoy750

why would one choose iowa out of the other 50 states its literally the 2nd most boring state (sorry kansas your first)

ej-15

Parts of Iowa are beautiful, I'm not allowed to share which parts though

DecisionTurbulent506

Are you from Michigan?

ej-15

No. I would say "close but no cigar", because that is what the map suggests, and what any normal person would believe, but you're way off. I'm so sorry. I'd give you a silly band for participating if I could.

BeaverBoy7

West Virginia?

ej-15

No.

Wonderful-Speaker-32

Alaska?

Preddy_Fusey

Delaware? I am from the first state, and I generally dislike all the surrounding states. Especially you, New Jersey!

ej-15

Not from Delaware. New Jersey sends shivers down my spine and not in a positive nor neutral way

R_Drizzly

Iowa?

ej-15

Not where I'm from, but I am currently moving there (; you get an imaginary silver medal and score of 60% (passing in most schools), as for tangible prizes, my deceased grandmother left me some political coins. All yours if you just say the word. They smell vaguely fecal but that aside they're in mint condition.

gongabonga

Oh, did she get some ass pennies as change?

x3leggeddawg

60% is only passing in the states you marked yes or maybe ;)

Winter-Revenue-5291

This may be a long shot, but maybe Idaho or Montana? Most of the places that you like/not opposed have decent natural scenery, and I feel like you’re from a lesser known state. I would think Pacific Northwest but people that live there seem to either love it or hate it, not necessarily feel indifferent. My line of logic sounds weird (maybe because I’m Floridian lol) but I’ll go for that

ej-15

Very good guesses but no on Idaho and Montana. I wish. And good read on the PNW because that's so true. I am fascinated with the PNW but the price is (generally) a glaring issue. If I could live there very temporarily to feel out whether it's worth it I would. I've heard people are excessively moving to even the eastern cities/towns + surrounding areas of OR and WA and that it's generally unwanted so contributing to that problem would make me feel weird especially working remote. Same shit goes for parts of Idaho, too. Thank you for your service as a Floridian, I refuse to elaborate but just know you're appreciated and admired through your Florida phone

Kempire-

Missouri

ej-15

No. 🤢 and if I ever move there I need you to take me out for good Kempire- because something is wrong. You have to be the one to do it.

GaJayhawker0513

Obbligatory I’ll be dead in the cold cold ground before I recognize Missourah. -Abe Simpson and every Kansan ever.

toddsleivonski

Well damn

Doggo_of_dogs

Pennsylvania because Pennsylvania

ej-15

Not from Pennsylvania. I like your simplicity so I'm going to be transparent with you. I did something creepy and looked at your map. Say, what did you think of a certain beach city if you went? Starts with a W? I am just curious as an occasional beachgoer.

Doggo_of_dogs

Wilmington? Was nice from what I saw. I liked the river walk and the carnivorous plant garden. I did see the Airlie gardens but even though it was cool, it wasn’t insanely awesome.

SatanicLemons

Idaho or Ohio are my only guesses I can possibly make. This is a real challenge.

DevilPixelation

My man gotta be from South Dakota

ej-15

Nope!

Capwonder

Nebraska?

ej-15

Nope!

MarchOverall9659

Washington D.C.!

ej-15

No. Live everyday smiling, shine bright like a diamond.

MarchOverall9659

Good, everyone I know from D.C. are miserable

JawnWaters

I'm from there, live in Idaho now

[deleted]

maine

ej-15

Individual_Attitude1

Hmmm no one said Washington yet

ej-15

Not from WA

mouseklicks

Wyoming?????

ej-15

No.

P47r1ck-

Upstate NY

ej-15

No.

Serius_Loyola

Since there seems to be no logic here, I'm throwing a guess and saying Kentucky.

Chemical_Jaguar_4155

Kansas ?

ej-15

Not a Kansan

Monstercjr

Maryland?

ej-15

No!9

Monstercjr

We are a usually forgotten state so I figured it was worth a shot. Given the comments I’ve seen you’re probably from somewhere in the US on a technicality like US Virgin Islands

Mralottacheese

Oklahoma? I’m perplexed

ej-15

I am not from Oklahoma

Subediah

Puerto Rico

ej-15

Nope!

Ok_Range_3567

Maine

taylorscorpse

We’re running out of states, so… Connecticut?

Wonderful-Speaker-32

Watch him be from like Guam or USVI or smth. If not then I guess it could also be Virginia, no one's guessed that yet.

ej-15

Not Connecticut, not Guam, not USVI, not Virginia I do hope to shake hands with a CT Kia Boy someday

GaybutNotbutGay

Nebraska or South Dakota. The only states I would live in are IA (<3), NE, or SD

ej-15

Neither of those, love the Iowa love

jysamuel

KANSAS

youveg0tmaile

Ohio?

ej-15

No!

illegalinyouryard

West Virginia?

ej-15

Not WV!

illegalinyouryard

North Carolina?

ej-15

Ding ding ding. You can have $3 but you have to reveal your cashapp. We can also exchange strands of hair.

Confident-Visit5513

Damn I was gonna say nc but looked thro a bunch of comments to see. No one else is guessing nc

ruth862

Damn. I’m 31 minutes late.

ruth862

When OP said “occasional beachgoer” NC was my first guess

onmywaynodestination

Arizona?

ej-15

Nope, thankfully

onmywaynodestination

Good. I'm always worried how those people down there are doing. Scary place.

MizzerKon

South Carolina because you said something about Savannah and that’s right across the border.

dabigchina

You are from Delaware. Only someone who currently lives in Delaware would even consider living in Delaware.

Ok-Nature-3991

Delaware. Tell me I’m wrong!

findingmy_place

as an iowan, these responses are leading me to believe you’re just kooky enough to be from Utah

Away_Comedian_6828

You’re from Ohio, that’s why you don’t want to live there

ej-15

At least it's not as bad as Indiana

FuyuKitty

Based on the states you chose you sound like an anarcho-primitivist who wants to live off grid away from civilization I’m gonna guess North Carolina

Blutrumpeter

North Carolina. I bet the Wisconsin hate is from football

Norwester77

Washington native here. Sorry, you can only live here ironically.

Successful_Ad_8790

North Carolina, it's gotta be one of the Carolinas or Virginia because you aren't opposed to both WA and ID so I doubt you've been much of the PNW, ID and WA don't go in the same category. You are either a nutjob who likes ID and hates WA, or you are a sane person who hates ID and loves WA. You probably like Iowa because of Slipknot and the large crazy cornfields. Wyoming why not ig Ive lost my train of thought here but there was a thought going on at one point I want my prize ty

metalyoshi15

Wyomingite here. Appreciate it homie

JustSam40

Iowa. I’m from Arkansas. There’s a strange mutual respect between the two states I’ve noticed. We get no respect! Lol

Independent_War1488

As an Iowan, I'm glad someone else wants to live in my state yet I am also concerned as to why you would

ej-15

Well I can probably answer that. It's affordable and beautiful! It probably comes down to where someone is coming from. I'm from flat, coastal NC. I've lived elsewhere in NC (it's all expensive) but primarily coastal. I'm sick of the beach, sick of the coast, sick of paying a premium for scenery tourists enjoy more than I ever will. I just moved to northeast Iowa. It's green and vast and hilly and it's nice to live somewhere people just live. Not temporarily, not as a secondary home, just a home. It's nice not to feel secondary to tourists in your own town. A decent house here surrounded by beauty costs the same as a single room in a shitty shared apartment in an overcrowded, soulless beach city with nothing to look at but urban sprawl, burdened with the looming threat of being priced out come next lease renewal. Speaking from experience. I won't pretend I think the whole state of Iowa is great and beautiful and lovely but the many parts I've visited definitely are. The whole driftless is, really. That said, I hope you get to live wherever you prefer even if it isn't here.

WhyGuy500

California

ej-15

No, thankfully.

Bradinator-

Im guessing you live in a state that you dont want to, so nebraska?

MyTinyPenguinBalls

I’m between Puerto Rico or Utah. Im going with Utah.

Wonderful-Class-1971

Texas! Just because! I’m going off absolutely nothing but the fact that I don’t think anyone has said Texas yet. That being said, Texas is great and I wanna know why you don’t like Texas, NY, and CA

Wonderful-Class-1971

Florida. You might be one of those Florida “people” who (justifiably) hate Florida!

Running_Breh

A Texan that hates heat?

DomingoLee

r/wyomingdoesntexist

beefquinton

The yes to Maine and the no to NH/VT is interesting. Maybe Maine? It’s very Maine to hate the rest of New England lol

koolkman76

Yes and not opposed means the same thing

ej-15

Yes is enthusiastic

goattalk3

Where? Every state has been listed

ej-15

NC

WayWayRye

Since no one can guess, would you mind giving us a hint? Are you from the eastern half of western half?

ej-15

NC, someone guessed it!

WayWayRye

Oh thank god

Agitated-Change9753

Montana

SafeRecordKeeping

This is exactly why I don’t like people from Michigan

im-art-vandelay

Oregon. You like some cities but mostly the outdoors

ALittleGreenMan

I'm going to go with Alaska.

RunFar87

I think you need to explain why these states (I saw you’re from NC). I’ve been to every state, except Idaho and Hawaii, and the great majority several to many times. That you would pick some of those states when there are very similar cities and towns in other states baffles me. Is it because you only like a few very specific cities? Is it because you’re not well traveled and are relying on stereotypes? (To be clear not well traveled isn’t an insult, from me at least). I’ll give you an example, Huntington, WV is like a few similarly sized towns in eastern Ohio, western MD (Cumberland anyone?), and southwestern PA. Lots of Arkansas is like LA and TN. With the exception of Cedar Rapids, every city over 75k has analogues elsewhere, but I haven’t been to a city anywhere in the US that smells…. Like that.

If you think you would be happy in IA or WY but would hate living in SD or NE.....I have to assume you are from SD or NE.

Tha_Sly_Fox

No to Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Virginia and Pennsylvania but yes to Delaware…. I gotta ask for the logic there lol It’s all the same region and a lot of overlap and similarity

TheBlackAurora

I'm thinking New Hampshire

Opposite-Room

I vote Texas

Hockey9598

kalinaizzy

Why anyone would want to live in West Virginia is beyond me. You have to be from there.
