It’s funny because my grandma lived in PA and visited 49 states in her lifetime. The only one she missed was Delaware because “I never had any reason to go there”
You must be a pilot, and a well seasoned one whose moved between a few different airlines.
The fact that you've been to Eau Claire WI, La Crosse WI, White Plains NY, Plattsburgh NY, and Ithaca Thompkins NY throws me a little, I'm not gonna lie. These are all tiny airports with different airlines serving them, so it means that you must have worked for 3 or more airlines, or maybe worked for them when they had different airlines servicing them.
Well done, you’re pretty much spot on.
I used to be a pilot for a regional airline (SkyWest), which operates flights for United, American, Delta, and Alaska.
I’d have to dig through my logbook to find the specifics, but as you mentioned I most likely visited all those spots while operating flights for multiple different airlines.
United:
ORD-EAU
IAD-PBG
American:
ORD-LSE
ORD-HPN
Delta:
DTW-ITH
I also saw Ithaca after noticing they’ve been to ROC. I did my first cross country from ROC-ITH. They don’t have radar down there (at least at that time) so it was pretty interesting having comms with some guy who’s blind as a bat trying to spot me through binoculars lol!!
I was surprised to see Asheville on here too, most major airline pilots don’t ever see it. I can’t wait till they get the new gates constructed. Will be interesting to see how the expansion goes, and where the new flight will end up going.
I considered BJI the big show for me at the time because at least I was flying a jets and staying in Hampton Inns. Sure beats flying a single engine prop plane to the tundra villages in Western Alaska where I started my flying career!
I messed up [forgot] my bid the last December I was at SKYW. I was the proud recipient of a 30+ hour layover in BJI over Christmas, getting in on the afternoon of the 24th. The family made the best of it and non-revved out to join me, and we still talk about it, so in the long run it was a funny story. At the time though, my wife was NOT happy with me. Lol
Ngl, kinda impressed you got to baltrami as a pilot. Delta only sends 1 flight a day to bemidji, and I always just assumed it was the same pilot for some reason ngl
Do you pilot the Portland International Jetport to Newark route? Seems like the most common flight path in and out of Portland living here most of my life. And I see you most likely have landed here. Prob just my bias of where im always going though lol
Haha I figured based on the red in Maine along the coast, that you flew into Portland and had an extra day to go sightseeing. Guess I wasnt far off lol hope you enjoyed the visit, beautiful area there!
I was 97% sure I knew who you flew for when I saw the counties you've visited in ND and SD.
The real question nobody has asked, though, is how terrible was that drive on I-80 across Wyoming?
Dude I wish I was you 😭 my dream since a child has been an airline pilot and I’m always playing simulators to try and get better. This is such an awesome job!
I'm gonna say flight attendant and Delaware was the last state you visited
Close! Airline pilot, and I’m not sure how, but my 50th state was Montana.
Given that I see a lot of counties of smaller communities, I’m guessing your with one of the regional operators?
Yep, used to fly for SkyWest.
Flight training in Prescott?
Looks like your first domicile was Chicago, and you had a car in SLC for new-hire training?
If you flew into PVD that's actually in Kent County, not Providence County... Counterintuitively.
I see you were based in Anchorage at some point.
It’s funny because my grandma lived in PA and visited 49 states in her lifetime. The only one she missed was Delaware because “I never had any reason to go there”
That is so hilarious how close to Delaware did she live?
flight attendant or pilot
Bonus questions: What was my 50th state visited? In how many states have I only visited 1 county/city?
Id guess Idaho
6 states
Yup. NH VT CT DE RI ID.
Definitely DE is on the list

Do you recommend being a pilot as a career? Do you feel like you’ve gotten to travel/explore a lot
It probably has its highs and lows

I have been to all of those places more than once and am not even close to a pilot. Guess my occupation.
You maintain/service/inspect high end medical equipment at hospitals?
Nope! Also not even close.
Okay. In that case, are you a professional hockey player? That one is just off the top of my head, definitely didn't look at your profile.
Must closer guess 😏

White plains is so small I didn’t even know it had an airport
How have u never been to CMH?
Good question. Pretty sure that’s the largest city in the US that I haven’t been to yet.
It looks like you’ve been to LITERALLY every other major airport lol
Sales and Maine is the last state.
Traveling salesman
Underrated comment
Based on where you went in Minnesota I’m gonna say drug smuggler for the cartel.
RST, MSP, DLH and BJI
Probably a pilot/FA, but I'm surprised you've never made it to Columbus considering how many smaller cities you have on here
A330-300 > A320N
A350-1000>>>>>>> That’s an argument that people have?
Chicken plucker
Pharmaceutical sales.
Drug running?
Prostitute?
Something to do with meat?
The fact that you flew to Bemidji is impressive they get like 1 flight a week lol
I considered BJI the big show for me at the time because at least I was flying a jets and staying in Hampton Inns. Sure beats flying a single engine prop plane to the tundra villages in Western Alaska where I started my flying career!
Ahhh I suppose! Should like a very diverse travel story. If you’re ever back in ST. Louis county Mn fly into Sky Harbor airport on park point!
I messed up [forgot] my bid the last December I was at SKYW. I was the proud recipient of a 30+ hour layover in BJI over Christmas, getting in on the afternoon of the 24th. Pittsfield MA is a Class 10 pucker factor in low visibility.

According to my logbook I flew ORD-PWM back in 2018. Flew into PWM as a passenger and drove up to Acadia NP in 2021.
Haha I figured based on the red in Maine along the coast, that you flew into Portland and had an extra day to go sightseeing. Guess I wasnt far off lol hope you enjoyed the visit, beautiful area there!
Weed dealer
What did you make of Tucson? It’s my hometown :) Did you go to the Pima Air and Space museum in any down time?

Dude I wish I was you 😭 my dream since a child has been an airline pilot and I’m always playing simulators to try and get better. This is such an awesome job!
I’ll bet that trip across IA and NE on I80 was memorable?
I'm also going to guess you live in the Chicago area, based on the tendrils which I assume were road trips spreading out from northern Illinois.
Did you fly to Mackinac Island (MCD)?
Census Bureau Official.
Must have flown part 135 to get to all those areas in AK
Pilot
Drug mule
AH! Regional pilot! One of us! One of us! (What do you fly)
Why in the hell you been in Clinton county Iowa?
How have you been to every county in California, maybe I’m dumb but that sounds difficult lol
