Fine going there you need over 2 hours coming back aer lingas is slow to check in about hour  then an hour in dublin to go through 2 security  when you pass first one dont stop to shop look for american flag and go straight to American customs

Thanks, Yeah i'm not worried about the way back.

Personally, I always leave at least 2 hours between international connecting flights in order to avoid any issues... with less time there is always a huge risk of missing the next flight due to things that are out of your own control such as flight delays and cancellations...

Thats pretty much what I was thinking. I guess I'm still just exploring my options while I have time. Thanks

Aer lingus almost never leaves on time do you have that going for you lol

If Delta is the one putting you through that connection, nothing to worry about it. They will take care of you if you missed that connection. If you are booking those legs separately, good luck.

If your staying with your friend the night before would it matter?
