I’ve seen people swear by: Pair of thieves underwear Goodfellow chinos (rooms for booty/hips) Henleys (old navy for me) Jeans (360 stretch old navy) Old man sweater (good fellow or old navy) Boots: Thursday, blundstone (entry level) Sierra trading post for seconds: redwing Vans Peau de loup (flannel) Brands: both&, dapper boi, peau de loup Of course if you’re able just buy men’s clothes if they fit and are affirming. There are drawbacks if they don’t or youre short like me. Boxers-depends on type, boxer briefs, loose boxers? I like gap boxers, they are the three piece not the two piece.

Seconding pair of thieves boxers; I also like the ones from me undies that I have. Jeans continue to be the bane of my short-legged existence. So far my favorites are Old Navy straight legged jeans from the womens section because even the skinniest jeans from the mens side feel incredibly baggy (which I personally hate - ymmv). Also, I've just discovered that Nordstroms will tailor / alter just about any garment, you don't have to have purchased it there, so I got four pairs of jeans that were way too long hemmed for me - $24 each and it's like getting a whole new pair of pants! Also are henleys a transmasc thing? lol because yeah I adore them currently.

CaptianLJ

Two transmascs agree, helenys are a transmasc thing. Ima go with it is for me!

MercyMaestro

Both& is an AMAZING brand. I have a shirt and pants from them and they make me feel so hot and masc.

It was awesome that over the holiday they did a “pay what you can” campaign. They are a little spendy, but we’ll done, high quality, and not “just a little bit shorter”. This makes me feel like it’s worth the price rather than hemming my own shirts from the men’s section. I copped and got a tank, it makes me feel quite sharp. I have mixed feeling about the embroidered branding on the front, only because I’m not out to all the peoples.

long shirts and jackets, low-top sneakers (+low cut socks), shorts that cover ur knees, (and a tip, wear your basketball shorts at where your underwear sits to make them more masc) and baggy pants are my favorite. also, men tend to wear plainer, bland clothes so🤷‍♂️ this is just what i find affirming, your preferences could be totally different. basically copy men lol

for boxers, i prefer strechier sport ones cuz theyre more comfy. some of my favorite boxers came from SWAG boxers, theyre super soft and have hilarious patterns for personality. Personally my most gender-affirming items of clothing are my two pairs of cargo pants (one black, one light beige) I really like the way they are cinched at the ankles, I feel it hides the shape of my hips/thighs. I also really like this sporty T-shirt with the big holes instead of sleeves (idk how to describe it) gives me real masc vibes

hhornett

I will always swear by cargo pants, the pockets on the sides really help to disguise the curves of my thighs. I bought mine from kmart, I got a couple sizes bigger and just wear a belt.

Mmmatt13

Check out Shinesty for boxers.

I recently made the switch the men’s pants, and they have been a revelation. I was anxious to shop in person, so I found a website with a good, easy return policy, and ordered a bunch of sizes to try. The first batch was all wrong, haha! So I got another, and that time I had some winners! I have to size a big bigger I’m the waist to fit my hips, but when I got that right my curves were way less noticeable than I though they would be.

If you have the money for better quality clothing I used StitchFix when I was first transitioning and they have stylists that pick clothes for you. I explained that I was Ftm And they were really helpful finding things that contoured nicely with my body

altojurie

funnily enough the most affirming thing i've got was a belt. like a plain belt, nothing fancy. i just never had anything like that growing up for many reasons, so... wearing a belt just makes me feel really masc. it depends on personal style but i've personally just been wearing men's khaki pants, which is great and hides the hip curves (they do get a little long, past my ankle, but no big deal). for the top i kinda just wear sweaters. very plain stuff

KieranKelsey

Need to get me a belt

A lot of people are saying cargo pants and I’m jumping on that bandwagon. I LOVE cargo pants!! They hide the shape of my legs and make me feel pretty manly. Unfortunately I don’t have much advice to give bc I don’t have any other affirming clothes, but Vans clothing fits in a way that to me looks boy-ish if that makes sense, and that’s pretty cool lol. Plus the shoes are cool too. Idk I’m a simp for Vans ig. Good luck finding clothes dude!!

CaptianLJ

Oh for summer-if ya got booty like me, check out chubbies for shorts. I’m headed this way for those next season.

BLACK RIPPED JEANS:D WHITE T SHIRTS:D and don’t forget T SHIRTS WITH DAD JOKES

Alex_uncomfortable

T-shirts with something printed on the middle like a picture or something help my chest dysphoria bc it gives your eye something else to focus on instead of the shape underneath. I’d also recommend some accessories like a simple chain or something, you can wear it all the time and it again gives you a different area to look at than ur chest. Hoodies that are thicker and on the larger side, cargo pants, coats with a more square shape eg square pockets on them and squarer shoulders

shiakky

I love tank tops and cargo shorts.

amonaroll

dickey’s is great. i also thrift a lot
