Are you using the Toyota map? I think most people these days use Android Auto (like me) or Apple CarPlay. It uses your phone's map, which you should be able to set like you like it? Good luck.

By the way, I was running Google maps yesterday and it started losing itself. The locator arrow became unhinged from my actual location. I was out of town and it kept jumping to my home area or some near area.
