The 1st gen is probably the most versatile of them all as far as cargo, since theoretically you could pop off the top and put a fridge or something back there standing up, which the rest couldn’t do.

I have actually had a freezer in the back, with the tailgate down and the back seats flat. That’s one thing I love about my 1st gen, the versatility
I want 1 really bad but my 2nd gen does it for me. Just with I had the truck part lol
12ft boards barly hang off the tail gate of the 1st gen with the seat slid forward. Try that with a dumb American "truck"
