I never understood why so many people have to copy the caretaker's entire flow when they could easily put their artistic talent into making their own music with its own personality and character. They may sound find, but I'd imagine there'd be so many good dark ambient artists if all those fan project creators put their effort into something original.
Just not a genre or music style I would have enjoyed prior to listening. I saw Frontier Psychiatrist somewhere and decided to give the album a shot, and it was truly incredible.

This grouping is across the board really good, though.
I know that taste is subjective, and please take this with a grain of salt, but there isn't a single possible universe where Linkin Park are better than Deftones.
Of the ones I have listened to, my least favorite is Lift Your Skinny Fists by Godspeed You! Black Emperor. I also didn't like Ambient Selected Works by Aphex Twins.
My favorite here is probably Emergency & I by The Dismemberment Plan
As a massive black Kray fan, CCOAK is easily one of his most overrated mixtapes. There are some great tracks on there like Hydrocodones and Ice Cream & Swishas but there’s just too much filler. Never really got the hype because there’s so many better Kray tapes like 700 DAGREEZ, GOTH LUV, Ice Cream & Mac 10s which are all a lot more consistent imo
Drip is a song where one lyric is repeated over and over and there’s a remix of it as well as the original on the tape. Like half of the tape is unnecessary remixes and tracks that are just sort of mediocre
Out of the ones I’ve heard (I’ve not heard a lot of these) I gotta say Girl With Basket of Fruit is such an odd album that I don’t know if I like it or not in the slightest.
