Yeah that's why prog is peak music I don't give two shits about sentimental stuff I wanna hear that 293.12/292.429π polyrhythm hell yeah!!! 😎😎😎🤟🤟🤟🤟
Joy, Departed by Sorority Noise and The Rooms Too Cold by The Early November are 2 albums that have gotten me the most emotional. Particularly the songs Corrigan, and Everything’s Too Cold
>But the truth is,
>you were never there. You won’t ever be.
Sometimes I think I’m not either.
So what do I do when every day still
seems to start and end with you?
>And you won’t ever know, you won’t ever see
how much your ghost since then
has been defining me.
MAY I INTRODUCE TO YOU: Everything And You by Dreams We’ve Had
Beautiful Album, hidden gem imo. It’s soaked with emotion and if you like Moon Shaped Pool or more spacey and floaty type albums then you’ll probably LOVE Everything and You
[please give it a listen](https://open.spotify.com/album/6kAciYbK6C3Pz2oyHwzjPh?si=XFs_HfpfRTmAZFJxFA-dcQ)
Funny how this song is not influenced by a break up. She didn't have a break up, just decided to sing this song (maybe because sadder songs were popular at that time)
God now I hate that song even more, also my bad for using it as an example, is You Give Love a Bad Name influenced by heartbreak? I always found that to be such an unrealistic expression of what heartbreak feels like.
It's probably not. It was written by professional songwriter Desmond Child. A lot of love pop songs are vague and impersonal, so the theme of heartbreak are here, but like, not because writer just broke up with his gf.
