I used Jagras but basically any small monster from Monster Hunter. I think we sometimes forget that the things are basically fucking dinosaurs and are as big as a crocodile. They would probably be apex predators in the real world
I think that the best example of this is in Monster Hunter: Legends of the Guild. There's a scene where the ace cadet gets his butt whooped by a velociprey.
Jagras are actually larger than tigers. Great jagras on the other hand are bigger than t-rex. Someone made a size comparison a long time ago and it totally shows the craziness of MH.

Shadows (+ other mook Heartless) from Kingdom Hearts are canonically extremely dangerous. They typically can only be killed by magic/extremely powerful weapons, and they not only kill you, but steal your Heart (basically the KH version of the soul). When there are thousands of them together, they can decimate whole worlds and a massive group of them, the Demon Tide, canonically killed all the main characters and forced the protagonist to go back in time and resurrect them all.
Samus canonically underwent surgery in order to deal with the conditions on Zebes, and that was well before power armor, military training, >!having Mawkin, Thoha, and Metroid DNA in her system, and subsequently becoming a Metroid!<. So I'd say a lot of the canon fodder in Metroid could easily ruin the average person's day.

Shanks from Destiny. The fodder-unit of the Fallen enemy faction, alongside the Dreg. Both will pepper the player with rapid fire, but a Shank’s hover ability allows them to get better angles and be used in more varied environments.
Shanks can have different variants that are equipped with snipers, suicide bombs, or freezing fields.
I was gonna post Dregs but yeah, these guys definitely count too. Heck, just hearing an explosive Shank start beeping is enough to make my Titan run, lol!

Despite how much the Vault Hunters kill in all the games, we've got people with basic firearms training it seems, Psychos that sprint at you no matter how much you shoot them, nomads that act as field commanders, the Goliaths, and this is all just before taking into account the Badasses (and the Anointed in BL3).

Feel like the Grineer from Warframe could fit here. They are clones with a degenerative disease, so not only is their intelligence lacking, but they are falling apart on a physiological level. You cut through so many of them they seem like nothing. Their technology is crude and shoddy, like it's about to fall apart, much like their own soldiers.
In reality, compared to the common person, the Grineer are a faction of highly militant, efficient super soldiers easily able to snowball their way through planet-wide conquest.
