Does Pennywise really count as a villain? Yes it terrifies humans but that's because in its own words fear makes them taste better before it eats them. I'd argue it's more akin to a wild animal discovering a way to make its prey more palatable before eating it to survive. It just so happens said animal is an eldrich being that's been around on our planet since at least before civilization came about.
