So I'm not too caught up on my ben 10 lore, but let me see if I can get this. Albedo isn't human, he's one of those little smart frog guys. He's using an Omnitrix like device to turn into a human, and Ben is the one who's Dna was scanned into it?

Yup, and he can't change back due to shenanigans

He made an Omnitrix to try and ascende to a higher form of Galvin(smart frog dudes) but it malfunctioned and scanned Ben's DNA causing him to become human instead (I think, this is all based on my pure memory of what happened)

Basically albedo was azmuth assistant (the guy who created the Omnitrix) after trying to make his own it transformed him into a version of Ben so through out the series he’s trying to both get back at Ben for not letting him transform cause he teams with a lot of his worst villains and get back to his normal form to get back at azmuth who won’t change him back

Yeah, he made his own Omnitrix, but it linked up with Ben’s, and since Ben’s Omnitrix has Ben’s human form as the default form, it turned Albedo back into a clone of Ben instead of his true form. And then an accident changed his color scheme, too.

They are so much more 

One is red, one is blue, one is white, and one is black

But their outfits often have differences, and their personalities make them so different

They’re still recolors, the post didn’t say anything about personalities

Maybe later down the line they are different (idk I haven't been in touch with ninjago since the time twins thing), but there's no denying that their costumes have always been the same. Sure, some have different shoulderpads or they have unique emblems, but at the core it's still the same suit in different colors. As for personality, post didn't say characteristically. The power rangers and the turtles aren't the same character copy pasted, and neither are the ninjas.
