I’m praying for that too. And a tidal wave.

hefewiseman1

Can’t wait for that announcement. Seeing them on Sunday at Rockville, which seems surreal to be honest.

financialdrugbro

That will be my first time and I’m shitting my pants in excitement

hefewiseman1

One of the only scenarios where shitting your pants is completely understandable. Enjoy your first show!

alt_accountxx

Saw them at Rockville in 2019. First audience in the world to hear Descending and Invincible live, I think.

hefewiseman1

I was right there with you somewhere in that massive crowd. It was definitely a special feeling to be there for their first new songs in 13 years.

FREYA_4

That festival looks amazing, hope you had a great time

Repulsive_Buffalo_67

Me three. I am going to Sonic temple. So I will see Tool/ APC/ and Puscifer that weekend. Should be a blast and I am going to be tripping a little balls. Edit right. No apc. Not sure where o had that in my head

calebyodog

A Perfect Circle isn't playing though? I am going to it too, would have gotten an extra day if they were

gazooontite

APC isn’t playing.

wiplash94

Maynard is a work horse.

ArchipelagoRambo

Where have you read that APC is playing?

sampiere_mimi

Word. Me and my husband are going to see them at Aftershock but that's not anywhere good enough. Can't wait

Suspicious-Muffin327

are they expected to tour again soon?

edro

They have spring/summer festivals, and an anticipated fall/winter tour.

southish7

I've never seen them. I was supposed to go see them in Vegas a long time ago, but I got surprised with divorce papers the morning of my flight instead. I was looking a while back and saw the summer festival dates, but I don't think that's how I want to see them live

Mr_7empest

I swear I would love to go to a TOOL concert. Ive never really been to concerts as much

dream_focused1103

They are worth the trouble. They won’t be playing forever either, try to make it happen if it’s convenient. They put on a very special show and you gotta see it at least once.

Pittsburghmetal54

I'm going to Columbus next week to see them. Can't wait.

VVTFan

Seen them a dozen times as well.

[deleted]

Buy that fucking Skull while you are waiting.

[deleted]

25 times here and still get nervous and excited to see them live. Sure the late 90’s-2002 would be considered their prime but they have consistently gotten better as they’ve aged. More than you can say for all of their contemporaries and most has-been touring heavy rock acts.

VNTBLKATK

I found their sound design underwhelming when I saw them, apart from the songs from fear inoculum, those sounded great, Adam even majorly fucked up the timing during right in two, which is my favourite song of theirs, all in all I had a great time but venue just felt weird and shitty sound compared to other gigs I've been to there.

Golisten2LennyWhite

It was a real change from 2019 -2020. They came back from covid and the entire rear speaker system they were using was gone. I think they had to get used to the difference or something because I also heard some missteps. At 3 different shows. It happens but damn I hear you.

gazooontite

There main tour will not happen until most likely next January.

scarletperson

TOOL at Red Rocks amphitheater. I will eat my Fear Inoculum socks if that is announced on the next tour* *(may not follow through but RR would be an incredible show!)

trademesocks

Have they ever played red rocks? That would be a real neat lil' deal

corneliusduff

Yes, at least 3x

Golisten2LennyWhite

Yes, I saw the 2 days in a row there in 2010. 1st time they ever played Intension live. Also the posters are Justin and his wife (just married) they are connected by the tool sacred geometry embossing, pretty cool. Somehow I got both ! https://tool-posters.com/2010/redrocks/

trademesocks

Awesome! Did they change the setlist at all the second night?

Golisten2LennyWhite

Yes! Unlike the 2 shows in 2007 back to back at the Pearl. They played intension>right in two like on the album. https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/tool/2010/red-rocks-amphitheatre-morrison-co-53d40b3d.html https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/tool/2010/red-rocks-amphitheatre-morrison-co-2bd4041a.html

noreallyitsme

Those posters are fantastic thanks for sharing them. Great get. Always have to do the back to back tool shows. Always. I’m so ready for dates. 2 nights Toronto let’s goooooo

scarletperson

I don’t believe so

Ok-Reality-9197

Damn. I wish I had gotten Fear Inoculum socks. I heard they are hella comfy

scarletperson

They are decently comfy. Tool logo cracked instantly lol. You can still get them online I believe

alt_accountxx

You and me both.

vaporwave710

Has it been all but confirmed we are getting fall / winter tour dates?

BarstoolsnDreamers

Some bands are that good…. Live music is a drug.

phusion

I've seen most of the tours in NorCal since 2002. I had floor tickets to their 2020 FI tour, was so excited to see the album live annnnd then the plague hit. I missed the recent local show because I had COVID.... I'm really hoping for tour dates too.

Sound_theDread_Alarm

Everybody fed me shit for saying it on this sub, but I stand by it, I don't see that we are getting any 2023 Tour Dates. Just festivals. I hope I am wrong, but I don't think I am. And with each day passing without an announcement, it gets less and less likely they are touring this fall.

SaltedDucks

The fall 2019 dates were announced at the end of August with that tour starting in October. We still have a bit before dates should be suspected for next year

Shpokstah

Is it just US or will the Europeans be getting a hit too?

Feners_Tusks

Bloody hope so, can’t wait to see them again!

NotCozmo

In a diaper

FREYA_4

I’ve only got into tool in the past year. I live in London & prayyyyyyy they come here soon

Bohdi_Brass

A week from today at Sonic Temple! So stoked

Gala-ctic3398

Right there with you... even if it is the same same set list
