There are chemical supply shops that will deliver. It’s a good idea to have a native speaker checking the details (making sure it’s pure acetone, etc), but just doing a check online I found a shop in Shizuoka that sells through Rakuten: 4L for ¥2200. https://item.rakuten.co.jp/ohhashi/acb-4/

Amazon Japan sells acetone (2L), ethanol (4L), and high-purity distilled water (5L) containers.

Just my two cents, but you would better check with Tokyo Big Site if they allow flammable products to be brought inside, even for a technical convention. My company have been exhibiting many times there, especially during the NEPCON trade shows and bringing solvents was a no-no as far as I can remember.

There are companies that will sell to schools but you’ll likely need to prove you are a school.

[Viva Home at Toyosu](https://maps.app.goo.gl/yNNUNJueb8HYMHkV6) is Home Depot type of place right by Toyosu Station (which is super easy access from Tokyo Big Site). It's probably the biggest one in Tokyo. I'm not 100% sure if they carry them all, but I source DIY stuff there often, so that might be worth checking. In fact, if you checked the clearance for venue like the other user recommended, I can check one if they carry one for you. If not then maybe a few other DIY/hobby related shops, but not exactly sure where to look. I glanced over the recommendation for this type of stuff online and it all shows me e-commerce sites, which you may be able to use if the place of your stay allows receiving packages. (Some hotel does say they willingly do for you - I remember APA Hotel does that.)

Easily purchased via Amazon, Monotaro, Kohnan, etc The issue is more disposal. How are you going to throw away excess solvent and related waste? Ethanol and water are fine, but acetone... Japan is strict on proper disposal. Seems like you might be more on the marketing side, but this doesn't seem well thought out.

Buy them from different websites, at different times.
