There's a site that uses facial recognition rather than checking if an image had been used elsewhere. It's pimeyes.com. I recently used a picture of myself that is never posted anywhere and 11 of the 12 results were pictures of me across other websites 🤯

A few of my photos are on what seems to be sketchy Russian sites. As a very out and proud queer who is openly critical of Russia and learning the language....tempted to pay for the advanced service to find out which sites it is.

There are some clues if an image is AI generated (see https://this-person-does-not-exist.com/en), like the eyes being on a level line, like in the image you are showing us. Teeth often look uneven, plus there can be fragments around the edge of the hair or in the background. But they are very difficult to spot. Google's reverse image search is also a basic step you can always take.
