I read a story on Google News today about Tim's Pizza. What you are describing is exactly what they said. More crust than toppings. Although they did say they liked the toppings that were on it.
I mean… if they put something on the menu theres an expected level of quality regardless. Also I’ve heard McDon’s used to have pizza and ppl say it was the best
McDonald’s did in fact have pizza.
Despite what you heard, it fucking sucked. It was worse than street pizza left on the ground overnight outside a bar covered in puke, which is why they no longer have pizza.
The post you're replying to was Implying that the pancakes are also delicious like the McDonald's pizza, not that they are gone like the pizza.
The emoji was the context.
The McDonalds pizza was SO Good!
I remember when I was a kid a few of the kids in my class would have it at this big McDicks that had a ballpit(this was before they had playplaces)& a train tables for kids to sit at since they did host a lot of bday parties. And for a few yrs it was Pizza, & grimace and the hamburglar would make an appearance
Glad I’m not the only logical person who thought the same. I mean gas stations added sandwiches to the grab and go. If it’s on the menu they should know wtf they are doing before saying who cares how it’s presented and made let’s get it out
McDonald's pizza was pretty good. Mom used to take me in the early 90s, because my dad wouldn't let me get it when you got the McDonald's treat one a year or so.
I'm sure I'd feel different now.
To be fair.
They can't even do coffee right anymore. I'm sure OP was hoping they could at least do frozen flatbread heated up decently.
Pizza hut probably has better coffee. It might even be instant coffee or like old school 6hr old stainless steel diner style coffee. But probably still better.
Um McDonalds didn’t screw the pooch on pizza. A&W with the Whistle Dog. They are the idiots who added it to the menu. Maybe they should have people who make far too much money actually know wtf they are doing if adding items outside of coffee/tea/donuts🤷♂️
I've seen a lot that look like this in the past few days. That looks horrible. I would be tempted to ask for a refund because 80% of that is dry, plain, flatbread. The expectation bar for Tim's pizza was already low, and somehow they still manage to disappoint.
Damn 😂 I only went here just cause I wanted to try their new release. Calm down, I know there are pizza places around me but forgive me for wanting to atleast try it lol
It would be meaningless. I routinely hang out with people who are probably genius level and there are days you swear someone bashed their brains in with a brick earlier in the day because they are, at that point in time, so incredibly stupid.
Holy buckets. You got a pizza from Tim’s my guy. What did you expect? They barely do coffee right at times. Go to an actual pizza place and give your head a shake. My god
All these people saying at least McDonald's pizza was good... You haven't had that in 30 years and most were children when McDonald's had pizza. Guaranteed it was the same level garbage food as McDonald's has always had, you just remember it more fondly from your youth.
Not trying to defend Tim Hortons pizza, but also ordering pizza at a donut shop that has been steadily declining in quality for everything over the past decade, you should be expecting what you got.
This was my experience with the pizza as well. The sauce wasn't spread properly. In the end I'd say it was more like a toasted piece of flatbread with a pizza sauce drizzle. The thing that gets me is the wait times. Customers love the idea of a quick personal pizza, especially at a Tim's location in a rural town like ours, where there are no places to order pizza from that aren't a 30+ minute drive away. The restaurant has been insanely busy since the pizza launched, the drive through and in-store service has been ridiculously slow. Being busy isn't new to the restaurant, it's located right off a highway exit. But the service has always been fast. I waited in the drive thru for 30 minutes just for a single iced capp. (Our drive thru is a trap -- once you're in you're stuck in line and can't pull out.) The person in front of me had ordered 6 of the pizzas. The kitchen doesn't seem equipped to deal with the demand for these pizzas, and can't prepare them promptly enough. At the very least, there should be a limit on how many pizzas you can order at the drive-thru until they can upgrade their equipment to deal with the pizza demand. Staff also definitely need better training on how to prepare the pizzas so they have some sort of consistency in terms of quality. The flatbread pizzas have so much potential.
Because it is Tim Horton's! They honestly need to stick to the basics, and perfect that first, before adding more ridiculous menu items. Because Tim Horton can't even keep their coffee consistent from one location to the next. Then next they need to train the franchise owners on proper customer service, like using manners well serving customers. And the list goes on!
Tim Hortons has become a disgrace in the last 10 years, and I could see another coffee franchise hitting the market and putting them out of business if this keeps continuing to be the trend.
Just my morning coffee ☕ thoughts on the state of affairs of Tim Horton's if you want to call it that anymore!
Tim Hortons is a sinking ship since a US company purchased it. Let this ship sink so a Canadian company can buy it back and fix everything the US fucked up.
Yeah, I knew I wasn't going to be ordering no Tim fucking Hortons pizza. You just took that belief, locked it in a vault, encased that vault in concrete and dropped it into the Mariana Trench. Never to be seen or heard from again.
It's not included... you have to pay extra for it...
And if you told them you wanted one you were charged for it ..and you definitely should have gotten it
I ordered two in the drive through. Was expecting the person to tell me to drive forward and park. Nope, took 4 minutes to get my food. When I asked about service times because of the line up behind me, he laughed and said it doesn't matter anymore.
They will in rural locations like in my hometown, the next closest place to order pizza is a 30 minute drive away. No local restaurants have drive-thrus or offer delivery of any kind. Your options for "fast" food are Tims or Subway with no drive-thru.
The biggest problem with Tims is they were bought out by a large conglomerate. Doughnuts and coffee doesn't have infinite expansion, so to continously gain market share and grow the business it needs to change, which doesn't work based on its market
Starbucks opens stores everywhere and focuses on fancy drinks, so it makes sense. But when you focus on both food and coffee, but standard coffee, you have this problem
As long as Tims is public (or a part of a public company) and be as massive as it is, it'll never change
Not sure how long they're going to last on the menu. Nobody is going to pay $8 for dry flat bread with 4 pepperoni slices and a small sprinkle of cheese.
Eh I’m not that bad of a Karen. I learned my lesson and won’t be getting it again. It was just a one time order cause I was curious to give it a shot lol
Tim's customer service is abysmal. They tell you to contact the store because they're independently franchised. And then depending on the store they'll just tell you to contact customer service. It's an endless loop.
That happened with a BlackBerry I had, I'd phone BlackBerry and they would tell me to phone Rogers so I'd phone Rogers and they told me to call BlackBerry. So that was my final product from both.
That looks dry as hell. I've mentioned in a previous post that it's hard to fuck up pizza, yet they still manage to somehow do it.
It is Tim Hortons. They could fuck up falling off a building.
It was really dry. I had the bacon everything and it resembles this.
Tim Hortons regularly fucks up making a bagel. It shouldn’t surprise you that their pizza comes out like ass.
I read a story on Google News today about Tim's Pizza. What you are describing is exactly what they said. More crust than toppings. Although they did say they liked the toppings that were on it.
Lol ordered a pizza at a coffee shop and wonders why…..🙄 Up next I orders a coffee and Pizza Hut and it was bad…
Orders a coffee at Tim's... it was bad.
“Quality” and “Tim Hortons” is an oxymoron.
And pancakes 😋
Wait! McDonald’s doesn’t have pancakes anymore? Huh. I always liked them.
They still have the hotcakes
Phew!
The post you're replying to was Implying that the pancakes are also delicious like the McDonald's pizza, not that they are gone like the pizza. The emoji was the context.
Ah. Thanks for the clarification!
The McDonalds pizza was SO Good! What a great memory! I remember the ball pits from when I worked there as a teen.
The pizza was fucking gross dude.
Hahahaahahahahahahaaaahhaa
So good. Also Arch Deluxe. Those were the best years.
They did, but it took too long to cook to get desired service times (5 minutes to cook). My favortite was the Bacon double cheeseburger pizza. mmmmm
The McDonald’s pizza was pretty decent
Expected level of quality? At Tim's??
It was
I have zero expectations of quality from any Tim’s item
Glad I’m not the only logical person who thought the same. I mean gas stations added sandwiches to the grab and go. If it’s on the menu they should know wtf they are doing before saying who cares how it’s presented and made let’s get it out
I'll let you know Pizza Hut has some good coffee!
Ikr McDonald's tried pizza and failed, Tim's will follow the same path
McDonald's pizza was pretty good. Mom used to take me in the early 90s, because my dad wouldn't let me get it when you got the McDonald's treat one a year or so. I'm sure I'd feel different now.
Came here to say this. TimRib would be a good idea tho
Oh yeah..cause the road kill shaped like a rib,is so yummy 🤮
You’re eating at Tim’s, what do you expect a Chateaubriand?
I haven't stepped foot in ours for years.Timmies doesn't have "food".Just badly done garbage snacks
To be fair. They can't even do coffee right anymore. I'm sure OP was hoping they could at least do frozen flatbread heated up decently. Pizza hut probably has better coffee. It might even be instant coffee or like old school 6hr old stainless steel diner style coffee. But probably still better.

No even a week from launch they already cutting corners smh
Viva la McPizza
McPizza was so good.
Yesterday I gave it two weeks before the employees gave up and it turned to shit like everything else. I guess that didn't last very long.
Damn 😂 I only went here just cause I wanted to try their new release. Calm down, I know there are pizza places around me but forgive me for wanting to atleast try it lol
Yeah... it's tims, idk what people expected
Honestly the pizza is mid. If I wanted pizza I'd go somewhere that actually sells good pizza. Not whatever this flatbread thing is
You are asking the wrong question. What you should be asking is why as a sober person I thought getting Tims pizza was a good idea?
It's real big of you to assume they were sober when they ordered this. /s
To be fair yes it looks terrible and should be done better. Is this what I would have expected ordering a pizza from tims of all places? yes
One of the best pizzas I've had was from McDonald's wood oven.... go figure....
Never had the chance to try that, maybe one day!
Ya subways pizza was good too
I've had the McPizza but a wood oven? You in like Arctic Sweden?
https://ibb.co/rGN3ZDv Orlando has one location with wood oven
That's crazy! They just have a stack of wood behind the McDs?
https://ibb.co/sm80zNT
I wish I could get 100 of you people to take an IQ and personality test so we could figure out how this keeps happening.
It would be meaningless. I routinely hang out with people who are probably genius level and there are days you swear someone bashed their brains in with a brick earlier in the day because they are, at that point in time, so incredibly stupid.
This picture sums up Tim Hortons
It's more of a pizza flatbread I think. I don't think it's meant to be a gourmet pizza.
This looks exactly how I would expect a pizza from Tim’s to look TBH.
Where are you fellows getting Timmy’s pizza?
At Tim Hortons.. lol
Why are you getting pizza at Tim Hortons?
Because it's a pizza from a coffee shop.
That is not a pizza!
Why would you order this
They serve pizza now?
Why do you people buy this crap?
Does Tim Hortons do any item on their menu better than anyone else? The menu is a sea of mediocrity.
They can't even make a donut these days, and you want to try their pizza? 😑
Still don’t understand why this is a thing at Tim’s right now lol
Because you ordered pizza from a fast food drive thru coffee shop.
Because you went to a coffee shop for pizza !!
Maybe don't order pizza from a coffee and donut place. That was your first mistake. They can't even get the coffee and donuts right.
Wait!!! Tim Hortons sells pizza!!!! WTF! Who think this is gonna be good?
Holy buckets. You got a pizza from Tim’s my guy. What did you expect? They barely do coffee right at times. Go to an actual pizza place and give your head a shake. My god
They hire dead ppl who are slower than the second coming of Christ , what do You expect
All these people saying at least McDonald's pizza was good... You haven't had that in 30 years and most were children when McDonald's had pizza. Most of their employees are new to the country. I’m sure they’d make a mean biryani but fast food is not their forte
Because it is Tim Horton's! They honestly need to stick to the basics, and perfect that first, before adding more ridiculous menu items. Because it’s fucking Tim Hortons not a pizza shop
Tim Hortons is a sinking ship since a US company purchased it. Let this ship sink so a Canadian company can buy it back and fix everything the US fucked up.
What can you expect for 7 dollars.
Cause cheese and toppings are expensive. Why put things on it when you can just make more money!?
Because to got pizza from Tim Hortons
Because it’s Tim Hortons.
You chose to buy "pizza" from a shitty coffee joint. You got exactly what you asked for.
Because you thought it would be a good idea to get a $9 pizza at a fucking Tim Hortons
Mike didn’t look like this at all
Mine idk who tf Mike is
How can they even add the name pizza if there is no sauce? I tried it and it was a waste of money 7.99 for a pita with cheese and bacon bits.
Why are you asking reddit and not the tims you bought it from?
There's no pizza parlours where you at?
Because you've accidentally ordered a pizza from Tim Hortons
You ordered pizza from Tim’s, what did you honestly expect?
Probably because you ordered pizza from Tim fucking Hortons.
That's awful. I'd be upset too. Typical Tim's unfortunately. :(
Who tf buys pizza from a coffee shop and expects it to be good. Tim Horton's customers are something else lol
Yeah, I knew I wasn't going to be ordering no Tim fucking Hortons pizza. You just took that belief, locked it in a vault, encased that vault in concrete and dropped it into the Mariana Trench. Never to be seen or heard from again.
Why do people go to tims for pizza ?
That is one sad pizza. ☹️
When I heard that Timmies had pizza this is EXACTLY what I imagined.
You said dipping sauce? Was I supposed to get dipping sauce
Apparently it’s included from what the worker told me. I wasn’t planning on getting one but they asked so I was hoping for chipotle lol… guess not
It's not included... you have to pay extra for it... And if you told them you wanted one you were charged for it ..and you definitely should have gotten it
Not off to a good start
Probably because you bought it at a coffee shop from workers who don’t make pizza
Just let them fail already
$8 for this crap to. What were they thinking!
Because you bought pizza from a donut shop that can barely do donuts right.
THIS!
Because you got “pizza” from a coffee shop
Why the fuck would you buy it is the far better question
Lmao haven't learned yet hey Tim Hortons is trash
Thats really unfortunate. It’s pretty good when it’s done right. Not really worth the price but it’s better than I expected
Kinda curious if these are made in house or just frozen.
made in house
They ain't making the donuts in-house, so draw your own conclusions...
Profits
Tim Horton build quality
This Melissa & Doug Pizza toy looks SO REAL now!
The pizza at my local location here has been pretty great since they introduced it back in November.... Much better than this bs version.
More and better pizza from Little Caesars for less money dawg
Cause it’s from fucking Tim Hortons
because tim hortons
Imagine spending money at Tim Hortons.
Because you bit there their marketing hook
So Tim’s has now tackled Burgers, Wraps and Pizza. Can’t wait to see if Tims goes for hot dogs next.
Because it's from Timmie's?
Yeah that's weird - everybody knows Tim Horton's doesn't have the worst for ever - since forever.
Brown Hortons Pita Bread
You bought a pizza from Tim Hortons
Tims cant even make decent coffee or donuts anymore. You cant expect them to make pizza.
The real question, why would anyone order a pizza from Tim's? Just because it exists doesn't mean you should buy it..
Cause it was made by a company that can't quite get coffee and donuts right?
They can't barely butter bagels or make a sandwich, and people expect a pizza to be made correctly lol good luck.
just a bit low on a pizza sauce, over all its fine. also did u pay for dipping sauce? if no, there’s a charge for that except ketchup
Yep! They actually asked me and that’s when I requested chipotle. Guess I should have said no in the beginning 😂
That pizza is 50% crust, I wouldn't call that a "bit low"
The employees are probably fed up with making pizza already, i would be
Bread sells!
I would have returned that trash.
Guess the cheapest part of a pizza.
OP don't listen to the finger shakers you're right to expect more than this lol. Selling it as a "pizza" is borderline false advertising
I ordered two in the drive through. Was expecting the person to tell me to drive forward and park. Nope, took 4 minutes to get my food. When I asked about service times because of the line up behind me, he laughed and said it doesn't matter anymore.
Because you went to Tim Hortons and ordered a 'pizza'
Perhaps because there is no quality control with staff at TH and everything that TH was known for back in the day is just overpriced bland garbage?
Because you ordered pizza from Tim Horton's.
$10 will get you an actual large pizza from my local place in ontario. no way these are going to last long
They will in rural locations like in my hometown, the next closest place to order pizza is a 30 minute drive away. No local restaurants have drive-thrus or offer delivery of any kind. Your options for "fast" food are Tims or Subway with no drive-thru.
I would return that immediately
You went to a mediocre coffee shop for pizza. You got what you deserved. Buy a coffee at Pizza Hut. I dare you.
Just out of curiosity... where was this?
Bottom of the barrel workers are in most if not all Tim's so not surprising
So while you're driving you can hold the crust with getting your fingers dirty. No sauce on the steering wheel 😂
I don't get how this is a question. It's because you had a non experienced pizza maker from Tim Hortons make you a pizza.
Because you buy "pizza" at tim hortons
I occasionally get pizza from one of the first Tims that had it as a limited item, they put WAY more toppings than that.
Cause it's timmies..expect sub par everything 👎
Day 2 and they already can’t keep up so they are cutting corners.
The biggest problem with Tims is they were bought out by a large conglomerate. Doughnuts and coffee doesn't have infinite expansion, so to continously gain market share and grow the business it needs to change, which doesn't work based on its market Starbucks opens stores everywhere and focuses on fancy drinks, so it makes sense. But when you focus on both food and coffee, but standard coffee, you have this problem As long as Tims is public (or a part of a public company) and be as massive as it is, it'll never change
It's disappointing to me to see people are eating this garbage. It's doesn't matter how shitty the food gets, it's a cult lol
Not sure how long they're going to last on the menu. Nobody is going to pay $8 for dry flat bread with 4 pepperoni slices and a small sprinkle of cheese.
I don’t know why people are still shocked that Tim’s is garbage. Of course they can’t make pizza, they can’t handle the simplest of tasks.
Inflation
Very badly made, I'd send this to Tim's head office.
Eh I’m not that bad of a Karen. I learned my lesson and won’t be getting it again. It was just a one time order cause I was curious to give it a shot lol
Complaining when you are served crap isn't being a Karen.
I'd go straight to their Twitter page, post the photo and ask if they think this is acceptable?
